CC, i know many who have left the church, and not become anti Mormons.

I took a look at your page on FR and saw all of the research, questions and answers you have posted.

Your page and with this thread, has interested me enough to start reading an online version of the BOM for the first time. It's very interesting and I wanted to say thanks for your work FRiend!

That said, for me to think that my understanding of God, and even that of my faith, is a perfect vision of God is to put him into a convenient box.

For several days I've considered your words and I just wanted to back track a like to say thank you posting them.

I'm sure God has blessed you many times in your life for your courage and wisdom. The churches (what ever the denomination) all need more deacons like you sir!

Did you know there are online bibles as well?

Be sure to avail yourself of the MORMON scriptures that REALLY contain most of their practiced doctrines: The Doctrines & Covenants.

They can be found at the LDS (Salt Lake City branch) website: LDS.ORG

Are you sure you haven’t been tricked into joining the “dark side”? That posting number sure looks suspicious! I have read satan is king of deception and his message usually involves “hate” in one form or another. FYI, Glenn Beck is right about evil not being able to understand good and hate being a poison.

what faith are you,

I have faith that God will personally deal with any church that crosses the line of what's appropriate worship or practice, as he has done throughout history. I have faith that God’s mystery will be revealed after the great tribulation and only then will we know which church doctrine was even close to what God intended. But then it won’t matter because there will be no need for a “church”.

what church do you practice your religion in?

I will let you keep trying to guess my church. I LOL when you “safely” thought it was LDS. How many things you could be wrong about?

Limiting beliefs to a Church doctrine would be like trying to contain the ocean in a small cup, the same can be said of any book. I think it ludicrous that anyone would imagine that God and his mysteries can be locked into a finite container. But this is the insanity that continues to plague “humanity”. It leads to condemnation and murder of any who disagree with the "only true" religion, depending upon whose religion it is. Freedom of, or from religion was a truly radical idea when the forefathers decided to include it in our constitution. We Americans should all thank God every Sunday for his divine guidance during its creation.

That’s all I have to say about this. Please open your heart and allow the Holy Spirit to counsel you about contempt for others who don't believe as you believe.

Of course Elsie, Bible Gateway is my favorite. What's yours?

Be sure to avail yourself...

I'm fully capable of deciding for myself what I'll be reading. But thanks for the recommendation. I'll take it into consideration and there's no need to shout. ;)

So you are bold enough come here presenting as some form of Christian judging other Christians whilst quoting Matthew 7:1.

You arrogantly patronize others while insisting they see the truth in obviously untrue doctrines or at least treat them as equals.

You even go as far as to tell me where I can post on Free republic...

Yet you don't even have enough courage in your own convictions to be honest about your own faith. You will not answer a very simple question.

I have seen that before, here and other places. That little game of not being honest and straight forward in ones own words and in answering questions denotes an interesting agenda.

I have no contempt for people who don't believe as I do, if I did I would leave them to their fate and ignore Christ's Great commission as well as his admonismenst and the ones of of his apostles to point out false teaching and false prophets, to love those searching and snatch from the fire those too blinded to see. Perhaps you have heard of this concept.

It is those false teachings I have contempt for. It is those that manipulate the teachings of Christ for their own ends, the smooth operators that take advantage of the innocents that I have contempt for. That you are trying to blur the lines is just an extension of your deception and inability to be straight forward in your dealings with others.

So I will give you another shot, an opportunity to prove me wrong about you.

Answer my question.

Answer my question

What part of, "That’s all I have to say about this." do you not understand?

:)

What part of, "That’s all I have to say about this." do you not understand?

I understand all of it.

That is my point in giving you ANOTHER opportunity, a second chance to be honest and straight forward, to change you mind.

Like I ask you once before, logic much?

It is also proves my main point when you continue on your little game without answering a simple question. One should be proud of their faith and willing to express it.

I will give you a full example.

“Hey ejonesie22, what is your faith?”

Well I am a Methodist by practice and attend a UMC church, though I also have an Orthodox back ground and still on occasion attend those services as well.

Don't worry, it was expected that you would continue your coy little self entertaining game, indeed it is one of my favorite parts of dealing with those who support deceptions and such, they do a lot of the work for me especially when they treat faith as something to be toyed with.

So thanks are in order, and I will hold out hope that the spirit of honesty will sweep over you when you deal with others.

Slick games are not for the truly faithful.

The Counterfeit has convinced the many that the original is the wrong way.

But if one thinks that God died on the cross and that Jesus talked to himself then insanity is the only logical option.

I like that better than the others as well.

It allows the cutting/copying of a chunk of Scripture MUCH easier than the rest.

I thought SHOUTING was all caps; whereas a single word or two is merely STRESSING them a bit.

When you start STRESSING more than one word in a sentence, some people might consider that getting a bit loud.

Probably just your style and I reading more into it than I should. :)

I really like the search and the layout with buttons for moving through the verses.

I have a audible bible and it allows me to listen while driving or doing other activities. The NKJV is only about 66 hours.

But your 'truth' and your knowledge' is MORMON heresy.

I'm sorry if the QUOTES from YOUR leaders and teachers causes one to doubt they know what the hell they are talking about!
