I would have thought you could see much better than that up there on your high horse.

Even though he is a Cardinal, Mahoney has proven with his own words many times that he does not speak the truth about the Catholic Church. Therefore, he doesn’t speak for the Church.

The Catholic Church is not going to go away. And you should be glad for that. The Catholic Church is the only church speaking against abortion, euthanasia and many other life issues. These are hardly leftist causes.

The Church is neither left or right, conservative or liberal. The Church is truth.

You start with the personal slight, and go forward with defense of the Church on off topic topics.

Then you claim a Cardinal “does not speak for the church”. Good one.

Evidently your position is - “When they speak what I want to hear - they are speaking for the church. When they speak nonsense, they aren’t speaking for the church”. Nice filter.

Do you have the guts to summarize Catholic Church support for Obama? Were they - on average - pro or con? Illegal immigration?

Catholics deserve better leadership.

Here is some data for you -

Nationwide, 54 percent of Catholics supported Obama and 44 percent voted for McCain. Of the total population, 52 percent voted for Obama and 46 percent for McCain.

Stalwart anti-abortion forces.

Not leftist at all - just managed to vote MORE for Obama than the average.

Got data?
