One would think if you send your child to a Christian college that the school would uphold Christian principles and values. That is often not the case. Gustavus Adolphus College, an ELCA school presents some eye opening and very disturbing information to its incoming 2010 freshmen class.
A group called Gusties for Restoring America describes one of the presentations, The first video, from a seminar titled the 'Inside Scoop' (a 'must see' event according to the orientation schedule), features a series of sexually suggestive skits explaining to incoming students such things as where to get free condoms on campus, how to signal to your roommate that you are busy having sex (so he waits until later to come in), and how to tell your roommate you're gay (as well as. . .

For a variety of reasons Protestantism moved on and later generations only had one wife at a time, more or less.
BTW, those young ladies would be quite offended to think someone thought of them as mistresses rather than just rather cheap tarts ~ whoops, I mean "dates".

Folks...if you are looking for a great four year education with no political correctness...a place that isn’t afraid to give a kid a grade of C...if they don’t derserve an A or B...the answer is Hillsdale College in Michigan.
Some of my former high school students are there and they love it! They are actually being challenged in the classrooms...and they don’t have to hide their conservativism.

Parents who are spending 20-40 thousand per year need to think about what they are funding. Of course, we need to think about what we are funding in government schools as well.
I sent my son to Hillsdale. Absolutely the best money I ever spent. They bring in great political speakers and often. The professors are willing to help a student. Some of them are quoted on FR. Go Chargers!
But what if you want your kid to be a perfect ELCA Lutheran?
I think this must be mistake. Sounds to me like the student ended up at a Catholic College. Maybe he should check his handbook.
And to think I haven’t sent GAC a dime in a dozen years!
