Green Party Attacks SSPX in Bundestag
The Eponymous Flower ^ | 10/12/2010 | Tancred

It's right on time that the German Bundestag takes up the battle against the Society of St. Pius X using the tried and true methods of before.

[kreuz.net] The faction of the German Melon-Party 'Greens' have brought a 'modest proposal' to the Bundestag.

This was reported by 'German Bundestages'.

The 'green' Antichristians would like to bring to disclosure, if the German government would acknowledge the application of "extremist views of the Society of Pius X".

The Society of St. Pius X is an internationally active organization of traditional believers. The 'Greens' would like to portray them as Anti-German enemies of the State.

In fact the Society has opposed the Germanization of the Catholic Liturgy and the introduction of National principles into the Church.

The 'green' faction asks, if the Government if the views of the extremists indicate that the Society of St. Pius X stand in whole or in part, in an endeavor to pursue them in contradiction with the alleged "free-democratic foundations of the Bundesrepublik of Germany."

So, more anti-Catholic persecution. And from neo-fascists. A shame, but not a tremendous surprise.

The irony shouldn’t be lost on anyone, that the Green party has been trying to legitimize sexual contact between adults and minors, but there is a party, if not more than one, which wants to do that as well in the United States.

How about outlawing the Greens for their anti-humanity activities?

Actually the SSPX probably are anti-German state. They certainly have a problem with being anti-American.

I’m eating lunch at the moment. Good thing I didn’t have a bite in my mouth when I read that. Nicely said.

In so far as the heresies of Americanism, Josephism, Gallicanism and Illuminist Protestantism of Prussian are basically the same thing, yes, every Catholic should be anti-American in that sense.

TESTEM BENEVOLENTIAE NOSTRAE
Concerning New Opinions, Virtue, Nature And Grace, With Regard To Americanism
Pope Leo XIII
Encyclical promulgated on January 22, 1899.
To Our Beloved Son, James Cardinal Gibbons, Archbishop of Baltimore:

[...]

The underlying principle of these new opinions is that, in order to more easily attract those who differ from her, the Church should shape her teachings more in accord with the spirit of the age and relax some of her ancient severity and make some concessions to new opinions.

Obviously, Americanism was a precursor to the errors of Vatican II. Bring back the "ancient severity!"

I have it on good authority that ++Gibons himself, of unhappy memory, would preach at protestant churches and quote from a KJV.

So cleansing the “Amchurch” will require digging deep.

They go against the puny SSPX and not against the Progressivist German Catholic Church, the Orthodox, Mohammedans, or Lutherans? The Mohammedans I know why they don't bother, because they'll cause serious damage, but the others? Are they in bed with the Greens?

Just curious. More details?

No, that’s not what I mean. There were accusations - and I think well founded ones years ago about French priests in the SSPX spewing anti-American vitriol at Mass and in their teaching.

Srsly.... ++Gibbons was one of the most heretical prelates in the USA since +Ireland... He made Cardinal Mahony look like a choirboy... yeah... I couldn’t even get past the first essay, sorry.

Whoever wrote that has no idea who Cardinal Gibbons was, what Americanism is, and is certainly ignorant of the struggles going on within the American Church up until the Great War, I’m uncertain whether this is an intentional or not.

Your links are nothing but ancient, third-party hearsay. The SSPX has reams of publication on the internet but you have not provided any credible source to back up your accusation about what it professes.

Wouldn’t be an indication that the Society’s concerns about Americanism are true, considering that their charges of Americanism are actually true and indicative of the American Hierarchy throughout the 19th and 20th Centuries?

Actually I did. I also heard this sort of thing from an SSPX trained priest, but no amount of info will convince you. Those who believe in SSPX do so with the intensity and unquestioning loyalty of cult members. I dealt with it quite often for almost 6 years. I know what I saw, experienced, and heard from the SSPX and those associated with them and those formerly associated with them. Whether or not I can convince you is not important to me.

No. It is indicative of the SSPX. I said nothing about Americanism. I said anti-American. I do not confuse the two and I do not believe the French dominated SSPX is anti-American because of a revulsion toward Americanism.

You stated on this public forum that the SSPX is anti-American. More recently you allege a French-dominated revulsion toward America itself (presumably greater than any revulsion felt toward France). Any Christian would feel a revulsion to what the West has become in general but alleging a particular animus toward America without evidence is wrong.

Skepticism toward your third-party links is not cultism. Any reasonable person would expect you to:

1. back up your claim with copy-and-paste evidence from a reliable SSPX source,
2. provide a plausible explanation on why such information is unavailable, or
3. withdraw you comments as overly hasty.
