You are worthy, Lord God, of every word of praise we could utter. We praise so many things and people around us, but who can compare with you? You made everything there is, and you hold all of us in your hand and in your heart. We praise you above all.

Jesus, you are the way, the truth, and the life. You have anointed us with your Holy Spirit. As the new year begins, keep us close to you and fill us with the fire of your love so that we may proclaim your truth to everyone we meet.
