Is it loving to allow blasphemy? Is it loving to knowingly let someone go to Hell? It is not bigotry to speak the truth.

The Catholic church teaches that we are to share the true faith and defend against false teachings. They also do not recognize LDS baptism or Mormonism as a valid Christian path, or that Mormons are ‘separated bretheren’ (which is what they consider protestants).

It appears that your views are at odds with your Catholic faith.

“There is nothing Christian or American about attacking another’s religious beliefs.”

EPIC FAIL. You apparently need to read your Bible more. Christians are called to defend against heresey and blasphemy of which the LDS are guilty.

“One can only wonder what these same people have to say about the Jews, Buddhists, Catholics, Lutherans, Baptists, et al.”

Jews are God’s chosen people, many of whom have come to know Jesus as the Messiah.

Buddhists are nice, but on a pagan path

As for the rest, I consider them to be my brothers and sisters in Christ, something the LDS are not since the LDS believe in a VERY different Christ than the one of the Bible.

“but these anti-Mormon threads amount to a Fatwa,”

Oh, puuuullleezze. No one has called for the death of Mormons here (or elsewhere).

The hatred on these threads comes from the Mormons. LDS leaders have even stated that Mormonism should be examined, held up to the Bible and condemned if found false (which we have done).

Need quotes? I can provide them for you.

“Anytime I’ve hear that non-Christian whore of babylon goddess worshipping garbage about the Catholic Church, it has never comes from LDS”

Want quotes from LDS leaders? Mormon apostles and prophets have a lot of horrible things not just about Catholics but about all Christians.

“I agree... To me a Christian is a Christian... It doesn’t matter how one worships to Jesus...”

Then you would be wrong, or not a Christian. It does matter, doctrine matters and unbiblical doctrine and teachings such as those espoused by the LDS are to be refuted, condemned, and spoken openly against.

“Why isn´t more attention paid here to values and what one does, rather than nitpicking one theology or another to absurdity?”

When the theology denies the BASIC tenets of a faith (such as the person work and nature of Jesus Christ), that isn’t ‘nitpicking’, these are matters of salvation. The LDS deny the basic teachings of Christianity and it is the DUTY of Christians to correct them.

“I find it disturbing that someone would post an article on here disparaging a religion that is not threatening to anyone else.”

Mormonism threatens the salvation of Millions. That is a very big threat.

“Some here that are complaining, need to quit asking why some Christians are fighting to save souls, and instead need to ask why they themselves are not joining the fight, or worse, have joined the fight on the wrong side.”

Worth a repost.

“Well thankfully in America people have a right to worship Jesus their own way..”

And we have a right to speak out against Mormonism as well.

And BTW, if the LDS REALLY believed that all men may worship as they may (12th article of faith), then why go door to door, telling other Christians that they are wrong and apostates.

The LDS need to practice what they preach.

I will pray that God will open your eyes to the truth and deliver you from the deception of Mormonism.

BTW, do you realize your posts make it appear that you worship of the Articles of Faith?

Geeze Sandra. I went to your about page and you seem very accomnplished. Can’t believe you would quit FR over this.

If your faith in your faith is strong that is all you need to sustain you.

Come back please.

The jury will note that the defendant's lawyer has called my client's reputation into account.

Is she now prepared to show the court the EVIDENCE for these SCURRILOUS charges?

“Well thankfully in America people have a right to worship Jesus their own way..”

"As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him."

Matthew 2:8

The MORMON Empire has 'found' Jesus and has accomplished what King Herod failed to do: destroy Him.

Like the pods in Invasion of the Body Snatchers did to the people; MORMONism has usurped the BODY of JESUS and erected a doppelganger - one who may appear to be the real thing; but internally is not.

Here’s my full quote, you left out the part at the end.

” Anytime I’ve hear that non-Christian whore of babylon goddess worshipping garbage about the Catholic Church, it has never comes from LDS, but a small fraction of the other sorts of nonCatholic Christians on FR.”

Have you observed otherwise?

“Want quotes from LDS leaders?”

No. How about pointing me to some quotes from LDS Freepers saying the Catholic Church is a a goddess worshipping whore of babylon nonChristian institution? Then I can point you to some posts of Christian Freepers saying the same thing, and we can make fun of them for agreeing with each other.
