Why Didn't The Red Ribbon on the Head of the Scapegoat Turn White in 30 C.E.?

I was wondering about a story that a "Hebrew-Christian" told me recently. He said that there was a scarlet cloth which would turn white every year when the high priest atoned for the sins of the people. When Jesus died, around 30 A.D., the cloth would no longer turn white when the priest atoned for sins because Jesus was the final atonement. I've read this story in other sources, and I wondered what you have to say about it.

This assertion with which you were confronted has, in the last decade, attracted wide interest in the evangelical world. In fact, I am somewhat surprised that it has taken this long for one of our website visitors to write in with this question.

In spite of the popularity this issue has gained in the Christian world in recent years, this contention stands out as one of the most bizarre arguments used by those who seek to convert the Jewish people to Christianity. What makes this line of reasoning so odd is that it seeks to use the Talmud to prove that Jesus is the messiah. While many readers of our website would simply be surprised to learn that missionaries would point to the Talmud to prove the validity of the Christian religion, in reality, this misuse of rabbinic literature is widespread…

…The Rabbis taught that forty years prior to the destruction of the Temple the lot did not come up in the [high priest's] right hand nor did the tongue of scarlet wool become white . . .

Citing the above statement, missionaries contend that the year the scarlet ribbon ceased to turn white coincides with the time that Jesus was crucified. They go on to insist that 40 years prior to the destruction of the second Temple corresponds to the year 30 C.E. which is approximately the time of Jesus' crucifixion. They conclude, therefore, that the cessation of the whitening of the scarlet ribbon clearly indicates that God was no longer accepting animal sacrifices, and the Jewish people, therefore, needed to turn to Jesus as their only avenue for atonement. Ultimately, this argument asserts that reason the scarlet strip of wool did not turn white in the year 30 C.E. was due to the fact that the sins of the Jews were not forgiven because they did not accept Jesus as their messiah.

3790 is the middle of a ‘week’ as related in Daniel 9:26 …In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.

The seven sevens are referring to shmita cycles as set down in Leviticus 25 1 The LORD said to Moses at Mount Sinai, 2 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter the land I am going to give you, the land itself must observe a sabbath to the LORD. 3 For six years sow your fields, and for six years prune your vineyards and gather their crops. 4 But in the seventh year the land is to have a year of sabbath rest, a sabbath to the LORD. Do not sow your fields or prune your vineyards. 5 Do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the grapes of your untended vines. The land is to have a year of rest.

3787 is a shmita year, beginning at Rosh Hashana, count 3 and a half, (or time, times and half a time) and you arrive at Pesach 3790. ‘In the middle of the week he will put an end to the sacrifice’ or ‘It is finished!’

How is the shmita year determined you ask? Simply divide by 7, or

541 x 7 = 3787

Now it gets real fun when you find that the next Pesach is also the middle of a week…

This Hebrew year is 5771
824 x 7 = 5768, from Rosh Hashana to Pesach 5771 is 3 and a half, or a time, times and half a time!

Or you could go to your Main library and look up Jesus in the Encyclopedia Judaica, Jesus, Died 30 C.E.

Over at Youtube videos of UFO’s, unidentified flying objects, and what seems to be unidentified ‘explosions’ near Japan’s Sakurajima Volcano. The video footage recently recorded by several weather cams. What’s worth noting, the ‘explosions’, at times, are seen behind the mountain to the right of the volcano.

This is some real crazy footage! Great capture btw....No way are they stars, to much activity. and the explosions...wow...just wow..

The minute 11:38 is one of the best flashes I have got, but there are many other, 11:59, 12:19, 12:48, 12:49, and so on. There are some faint and repeated, intermittent flashes too on the right side of the screen, by and behind the last peak or the last summit of this volcano. This video is splendid. Here we are some speechless proofs about UFO's existence

Debt It's a slow day in a little northern town called Maghull. There's a chill in the air, and the streets are deserted. Times are tough, everybody is in debt, and everybody lives on credit..............

On this particular day a well to do type o' guy is driving through town. He stops at a local hotel and lays a £50 note on the desk saying he wants to inspect the rooms as he wants to spend a night in the town..

As soon as the man walks upstairs, the hotel owner grabs the £50 and runs next door to pay his debt to the butcher.

The butcher takes the £50 and runs down the street to settle his debt to the farmer.

The farmer takes the £50 and heads off to pay his bill at the supplier of his animal feed.

The guy at the Farmer's Co-op seizes the £50 and runs to pay his debt to the local prostitute, who has also been facing hard times and has had to offer her "services" on credit.

She in turn dashes to the hotel and pays off her room bill with the hotel owner.

The hotel proprietor then places the £50 note back on the counter to await the return of the well to do guy.

A few minutes later the guy returned to the desk, says the rooms are not satisfactory, pockets the £50 and leaves town.

No one produced anything. No one earned anything.

However, everyone concerned is now out of debt and now looks to the future with great optimism.

And that, dear readers, is how the United Kingdom's Government is conducting business today!

posted on 14/12/2010 @ 20:13 this post After watching the numerous videos of riots occurring in Europe, and even here in America, I noticed that the riot police really have no control. It is not the riot police that contain the people from overtaking the key areas they are protecting. It is the fear of the people that stop the situation from escalating to a point where out of control violence occurs.

The last riots in the UK over tuition costs made me question how and why the police maintain power over the mass amounts of people! The people outnumber the police by outrageous numbers.

If the people of the world decided to rise up and take back the control of their governments/lives, could the police really do anything about it? Is our worst enemy not the riot police, but the will and actions of the people who are not willing to take that final, crucial step of overtaking those who stand in their way?

My opinion is NO! A true, full uprising of the people would be unstoppable. We are inhibited by our fears and our desire to get along with our neighbors, but are not willing to take action against those who oppress us. When the full-uprising does occur, it will be a site to see. Our government's and police have no chance. Their only option would be to listen to us, or the hammer would fall harder than any riot we have seen in history!

But would the people be willing to rise to that occasion? Unfortunately, I think not.

Now I was involved very early on with the Restore America Plan I was one of the Grandjurors. I was also one of the 27 people in my state that had the Balls to sign the letters to the Govornor of Mississippi. As expected we were all contacted by the FBI and were vetted out not be any threat. Off the Record one of the agents told me that they hope that it worked.

Now last night I was listening to a confrence call and one of the 'New' Supreme Court Justices was talking about the new photo Id's, 3 of them. So I checked it out the can be found here: www.republicoftheunitedstates.org... and Here:

I have to say they look good and people have 'claimed' to have used them already at airports at TSA checkpoints with out any problems. I personally have no confirmation of this. That is the main reason I am posting this thread is to see if any on ATS have any proof that they work.

Now back in October I and several other Militia members attended a meeting with Tim Turner in KY.

Everything he was saying sounded great until we asked for proof. He could not prove anything with the 30 MT of gold they claim to have possession of. We were told that the Joint Cheifs of staff and the DOJ were on board. So we asked for a meeting. We were promised a Meeting with the DOJ and have to date had no such meeting. I have called mr. Turner and was told that no promises were made. So moving on.

At that meeting we were told that the Militias would be the new Law Enforcement during the transition. ( Bad idea ) We were also told that members of the militia and Law Enforcement on board with the Republic could interview to be a republic ranger. Basicly they would have more athority than the US Marshials, DHS, and FBI.

The more Mr. Turner talked the more it began to sound like a Plan "B" for the NWO.

So I have come to 2 possible conclusions:

1. They have been sucessful ( seeing as none of them are in jail or dead )

2. They are the backdoor plan for a NWO for after the collapse.

I am split between the 2 possibilities.

There are a lot of good, smart men and women involved and it would be tragic if they were all conned into the plan just to be used to further the goals of a small group.

I guess the real issue I have with the whole thing it the secrecy even within the Mississippi Republic mississippirepublic.org... None of them have answered my questions.

I was watching a documentary regarding a Jewish woman named Bromm (surname) last night. She stated that she knew she had to get out of Germany even if it meant she left completely naked. They made her pay taxes for an extra year in advance and she wasn't allowed to transfer money or her assets out of Germany when she left. This woman got out when she could, while many did not, and they ended up burned in ovens or starved to death.

So, I've been thinking. What is that marker that says one should leave a country? I've tossed around the idea in the past, but never quite as seriously as I consider it today. Has America slid past the event horizon, only to self destruct and never again be seen?

If free speech is terrorism, then how long before we are corralled and gagged? If lies are the new truth, then can we in good conscious continue this descent? The media, the supposed bastions of free speech, have effectively ended free speech and dissent. The truly unnerving aspect is that much of the world seems to be following this lead. Here comes the NWO. Time to look for an out of the way property in South America if you have the funds. Otherwise, prepare yourself to leave naked.
