scandals of high profile jews who are somewhat "observant" involved in performing or promoting deviant acts{i.e. senator joseph lieberman sabbath vote and advocacy for open homosexuals in the military}are in part the spiritual "fruit" of orthodox jews in the u. s. and the holy land. not only do torah advocacy groups like agudath israel & the o. u. fail to protest immoral public activity ,legislation,etc. or those who promote the aforementioned, but too often orthodox groups or prominent individuals raise funds for or otherwise honor , vote for or otherwise support these serial transgressors that should be chastised.this results in a "measure for measure "spiritually generated response where these "observant" trans gressors embarass orthodox worldwide. when will our leaders and organizations wake up? stop the business as usual approach & proactively give protest & chastisment. or it will only get worse,G----d forbid!

Agudath Israel of America is not guilty of R. Levin’s claims. For exmple, Sen. Lieberman is said to have cast a toeivah vote, and there’s the toeivah marriage issue, etc.

Senator Lieberman is not a member of Agudath Yisra'el and Rabbi Levin doesn't claim he is. But mainstream Charedi leadership remains silent in the face of desecrations by people who call themselves "observant Jews." That is what Rabbi Levin is saying.
Unfortunately, Senator Lieberman is a champion of "gay rights" including the repeal of DADT.
Rabbi Levin (a disciple of the late Rabbi 'Avigdor Miller, zt"l) is a great meqaddesh HaShem in a Charedi world whose mainstream leadership is too often shamefully silent. G-d bless him.
