"It is proper for the noblest hearts to discover the most urgent need of their epoch and to consecrate themselves to it." --Father Lacordaire, a famous French priest quoted by Father Euteneuer in the introduction of his book Demonic Abortion
"Sidewalk counselor: 'You can't go to heaven unrepentant, George; you are going to Hell.' Abortionist George Tiller: 'Abortion is worth going to Hell for.'" --from Demonic Abortion (pg. 82)
Showing how being "pro-choice" is not a mere political opinion but in fact a worldview; one which John Paul II dubbed "the culture of death," Euteneuer then demonstrates how the "unholy trinity" of "contraception, comprehensive sex education and abortion" has undermined (and in some places killed) our traditional views on "life, marriage and family" (pg. 15).
"Passing from the idea that a child is an 'inconvenience' (contraception) to the idea that a child is 'irresponsible' (sex education) to the idea that the child is a 'problem' or 'crisis' that can only be solved by abortion is the slippery slope that the devil has created...a diabolically clever strategy...that subvert[s] everything God [made] sacred and is, in essence, 'another gospel' (Gal 1:6-7) entirely opposite the Gospel of Jesus Christ" (pg. 17). As for those Protestant brothers and sisters who are not quite convinced of the evil identity of the first person of the "unholy trinity," I would ask you to pay special attention to Euteneuer's discussion on contraception, which he calls a "gateway drug" to abortion. By "dividing the unitive and procreative dimensions of the marital act...contraception [drives] a demonic wedge into marriage...[not only] dividing...flesh and spirit...parents and children...husband and wife," but also dividing "family and society" by which it has led to the widespread acceptance of the most contraceptive (non-procreative) union of all; namely gay "marriage" (pg. 42).

The sentence itself tells why Rev. Euteneuer resigned. He doesn't want to become a cult of personality. He resigned to do pastoral work as well. Rev. Euteneuer resigned out of humility to God's Truth that abortion is demonic.
There is no conspiracy here...just one man doing God's work. God bless him.
Exorcism and the Church Militant
Is excellent as well!
My wife got both books for about $40 off of the reverend's site.
It is now selling for $157.06 !!! on Amazon!
As you know, I am far from being an apologist for the Catholic Church. I do however, believe that Fr. Euteneuer is one of those rare men whose personal morality and dedication completely overshadows whatever theological differences I might have with him.
He is sincere and his vision of the spiritual battle we fight in this world is spot-on. I believe him to be well worth reading.
His related book: Exorcism and the Church MilitantI concur! After hours of dialing, my kids found "Exorcism ..." for me, and I grabbed all seven copies available (I've sold six and am keeping the seventh), but try to find the book now ... it's pretty difficult. (Your wife was wise to purchase early.)
Is excellent as well!
Have you personally spoken to Father Euteneuer about his resignation?
He is sincere and his vision of the spiritual battle we fight in this world is spot-on. I believe him to be well worth reading.I agree with you. I've tried to spend much time in prayer for not just Fr. Euteneuer, but all priests in general ...
"One is simply obliged not to be a heretic in public..."
I had the privilege of praying with Father before one of Las Vegas’ most prolific abortion clinics a few years ago. He is a great warrior in this cause.
I was saddened when he left HLI and hope that he will be more visible again soon. We need his style of brutal honesty to combat the euphemisms and misleading information put out by the pro abortion lobby.
No, but I have read that he wanted to do pastoral work. Also, I have read his books and he speaks quite frequently about not becoming the cult of personality. Also, he has spoken about the dangers of becoming a cult of personality like Father Marcial Maciel.
Thank you so much for sharing this exchange between the very holy Father and the insolent, ego-driven Hannity. This is the first time I have seen Hannity in this light, and my new impression shall be lasting, until he makes a public confession.
The courage of conviction knows no schismatic boundaries.
I’ll try and consider the source more, later.
My point exactly.
