They do the same with Catholics. While I don’t believe in your Temple one iota it is important that we all stand united from a political/traditional standpoint. The “planners” have infiltrated your house of worship along with ours and every other organized religion which includes the churches of ALL here. These planners don’t like organizations because we have strong groups/congregations - take that away and we’re standing alone with a very weak voice vulnerable to their orders. It’s why they attacked the family units, communities...with great success. As a Catholic I fight the parasitic infiltrators daily...we all need to do the same and not pretend that their specific church or temple is perfect.

Have you written then to Salt Lake City & asked the Mormon leaders to stop calling ALL Christian -- Protestant & Catholic churches -- "apostates?"

Have you asked them to stop referencing ALL of our creeds as an "abomination" to God?

Have you asked them to stop referencing ALL professing believers outside of their church as "corrupt?"

Here...I encourage you to broaden your homework horizon before you speak...Google "Joseph Smith - History" and read vv. 18-20 re: the name-calling that Mormons now say is "Bible-level."

As for "uniting" I could probably guess that the folks who the apostle Paul warned the church @ Ephesus about had the bulk in common with the sheep there. Both groups were "religious." So, did Paul play the "allies"-game-don't-divide-us-you're playing? (No)

As Paul was leaving the church of Ephesus, he warned them with this high-priority alert:

"I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears." (Acts 20:29-31)

Paul's cultural priority? (Defend against the false disciples who will proselytize the flock and draw away men unto themselves! Unlike your "fight" against "the parasitic infiltrators daily" -- whoever they are -- the apostle Paul wasn't pretending that the church at Ephesus he was leaving wasn't "perfect," he adamantly didn't want savage false wolves who "distort the truth" devouring the sheep)

Tell us something, Bronxville: If you did something tearfully night and day for three years, do you think it's rather important? So what? We're just to conclude, "Oh, the man who contributed a good chunk to the New Testament -- what does he know about cultural priorities?"

Do you have ANY idea what your church teaches about the Mormons?

Because Catholicism doesn’t like them either.

And while I consider Catholics to be my brothers and sisters in Christ, I also know that Mormons are not.

BTW, I used to be Mormon.

Hi Reaganaut..How long have you been out of Mormonism? Is your exit story somewhere on line? I would like to read it, if it is.

Thank you.

Why would we stop quoting God? Your non-issues are all addressed at the links I have provided by the way.

Thanks again!

Oh I see - so GOD said that all other creeds other than the Mormon one are an abomination to Him?

THat’s some “non=issue” dude.

I asked the Personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right—and which I should join. I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight .... He again forbade me to join with any of them (Joseph Smith 2:18-20).

PD, you didn’t “fix” anything. Mormonism IS being exposed for what it is and you can’t change that.

Hey PD, still waiting for you not to be ashamed and tell me if you are PERFECT yet as Jesus commanded.

Like I said before - I’ll state whether or not I am after you. Why do you equivocate PD, isn’t that testimony of perfection strong enough?

Once again, are you PERFECT as Jesus commanded in Mt 5?

I really don’t want to get in trouble again for “mind-reading” so I won’t say that you know the answer so I know you are just playing a silly anti-Mormon game. Nope won’t say that.

Sorry! Grab a blankie and some hot chocolate!

Remarkable - perhaps you should rename yourself as paranoid pretended PD. But never the less,I ask the question - are you PERFECT? You claim Jesus left this as a commandment and that as a mormon this proves your restored gospel is restored (at least thats what your sources say). So are you, as a mormon, PERFECT?

Why would we stop quoting God?

Nice question: here's another:

Why do MORMONs continue to QUOTE some UNNAMED Personage?

http://scriptures.lds.org/en/js_h/1/17#17

17 It no sooner appeared than I found myself delivered from the enemy which held me bound. When the light rested upon me I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other—This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!
18 My object in going to inquire of the Lord was to know which of all the sects was right, that I might know which to join. No sooner, therefore, did I get possession of myself, so as to be able to speak, than I asked the Personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right (for at this time it had never entered into my heart that all were wrong)—and which I should join.
19 I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight; that those professors were all corrupt; that: “they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, they teach for doctrines the commandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof.”
20 He again forbade me to join with any of them; and many other things did he say unto me, which I cannot write at this time.

You ARE allowed to READ your OWN mind.
