The key is the time word "until" in verse 25.

It was the time word "until" in verse 25 that got me rethinking my views on eschatology, that's probably why I didn't think about verse 29, which is more appropriate for this thread.

And there are those of us who believe that when the Rapture happens, The Holy Spirit leaves the earth with the Church (Bride)...Salvation by Grace thru faith is over with...
Those left on the earth during the Tribulation will be saved, only by their good works AND the Testimony of their belief in Jesus Christ as layed out in the Gospels...While they will be saved, they will not be part of the church...
As far as the others' beliefs in the current Abraham's Bosom, Jesus will again descend and open those gates (when Satan is dumped into Hell at the end of the Tribulation), again preach to those behind the gates and us His keys to again unlock the Gates of Hell...
And of course, Jesus made the true claim that the Gates of Hell would not prevail against His church, Matt: 16...
Seems as tho there's a lot more in that BOOK than many people realize...All those little words are the most fascinating...The ones such as til, untill, shall be, then, or, etc...Seems people don't pay much attention to them...

Since this is the easiest to respond to I'll start here. I agree.
For a Born Again Christian to not witness to someone is an indicator that they hate them. I don't want anyone to be damned. I know God has a plan for Israel (the Bible tells me so) and I want to support them at the same time I want to evangelize to them because if they aren't in the 1/3rd that God brings thru the Tribulation they are lost.

Obviously we are just conjecturing, but if so it would have to be those that died after Resurrection. However, why would this be? Are they any different then anyone else who has died in their sins?

This would be an argument for a mid-Trib rapture. The two witnesses aren't killed until the mid point and I'm assuming the Holy Spirit is with them.

I think that occurred after the Crucifixion. I don't see how a special consideration would be made for Jews after Jesus' ministry on Earth.

The more I read it the more I see. I think the hardest part is being willing to challenge everything and expecting it to be consistent and make sense. I had the hardest time with eschatology until I realized the Tribulation is all about God opening the eyes of Israel, that Israel is Hosea's bride.
Not that I would expect anything less from him. Like Hamas, he just lobs bombs at Jews to make them squirm.

If I understand this article correctly, the whole thrust is that because of Israel’s infidelity to God, Christ was sent to act as God’s Lawyer in establishing a case against Israel so that God could divorce Israel and marry the Church.
Am I correct in stating that this is what you believe? I’m trying to establish something here and I just need to know exactly what you believe.
