I often do wonder at God’s ultimate intent for dogs. And I wonder at the significance of their name... being God in reverse. Of course, other languages may not have that connection, and it may be perfectly coincidental, but I’d like to think that dogs have a special (and good) use to the Man upstairs.
I had not ever give any thought in that sense, but you are right, dogs are very noble animals and i believe the best friend a man or boy can have.

My German Shorthair Pointer caught herself a ground squirrel today. She may be noble and kind towards Man, but she didn't waste any time on that squirrel. :) She turned into pure dog insanity for a few seconds.
This is a quick summation of a dog's thought process:
"I must catch the stick... Watch the stick... He's about to throw the stick... Here he... SQUIRREL!!!
