Additionally, we are often an amazing encouragement to folks who are long past "the honeymoon" stage of their ministry! These photos represent over 60,000 miles of seeking homes for the Bibles on the Quest and include areas from New Zealand to Alaska to Central America - and now from Panama, through French Polynesia, the Cooks, Samoa, Tonga and back to New Zealand. 2007 finds us in the Fiji Islands. Also, not all distributions are included. Anytime we have workers on the boat or come into the dock and have an opportunity to talk to people we find more homes for our Bibles. We have just tried to cover a few of the highlights of our Bible Ministry.

2009 has been a great year for the Quest. We started in Los Angeles when we ordered our Bibles - Catholic Bibles from the American Bible Society and NIV Bibles from the International Bible Society. In ordering the Bibles I asked Scott what he thought about the order I have planned and his reply was, “Double it!” I think that was him stepping out there with the expectation that God would provide (the money, the logistics of sending them to New Zealand on a container ship, and the carrying capacity of Quest - which was really strained getting those Bibles onto the boat as low as possible and without interfering with the function of a yacht at sea).

I am so sorry that these distributors of God's word have been murdered.

I wish people would not deliberately put themselves in positions where they almost certainly are going to be treated badly or where others must risk their lives to save them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the Russians have had any more trouble since capturing pirates that attacked one of their ships. The pirates were bound and abandoned on-board a boat which the Russians later set afire and sank.

No officer wants to command his men to kill pirates out of school, but once the legal requirements are satisfied,

I THOUGHT the rules of the high seas called for the IMMEDIATE execution of pirates? Anyone else think that Obozo tied our guys' hands because these MURDERERS are poor, black, desperate MUSLIMS from Somalia (which, BTW, is Kenya's neighbor) and, instead of pitching these azzholes overboard to feed the sharks, they'll be brought back here, go through an expensive taxpayer subsidized TRIAL then on to prison for 20 or 30 year where they'll live and eat better than they ever have, gain weight, get free medical care, etc., etc. to the tune of 40 grand each per year!
