Amen! This is a wonderful thread. Thanks for posting it.

. There is no uncreated being except God. God has no opposite. No being could attain a “perfect badness” opposite to the perfect goodness of God; for when you have taken away every kind of good thing (intelligence, will, memory, energy, and existence itself) there would be none of him left.

The ONLY understanding that comports with Scripture, that answers questions most surely, that brings the optimum comfort to men and the most glory to God, is that ALL THINGS work according to His perfect, predestining will.

Christians should delight in this truth, while the world conspires to keep it from them because slaves work harder if they think they are free.

"With Him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are His." -- Job 12:16

This Religion Forum thread is labeled “Reformed Caucus” meaning if you are not currently, actively Reformed (TULIP) then do not post on this thread.

So then, from a website perspective, Is FreeRepublic then turning into a private discussion set of threads?

I.E. We have Mormon, Reformed, etc and I suppose each one of those get’s it’s own “safety zone”?

Why not then make them a FULL UP TOPIC. You have just religion. You are going to have to make Religion and sub-divide, or else make it that people don’t feel welcome posting on GENERAL Topics.

Please let me know if you wan’t to keep silencing free speech and discouraging debate. If you stand by this, I will just frequent other places.

Been here for many years - think I should just leave.

Religion Forum threads may be labeled "prayer" "devotional" "caucus" or "ecumenical." All other threads are "open" by default.

No debate of any kind is allowed on RF threads labeled "prayer" or "devotional."

Non-members of a caucus must not post on an RF thread labeled "caucus." For instance, if the title says "[Catholic Caucus]" and you are not currently, actively Catholic then do not post on that thread.

No antagonism is allowed on RF threads labeled "ecumenical."

On "open" RF threads posters may argue for or against dieties, religious authorities, beliefs, etc.

This is very interesting you have created such a set of “rules”.

When did this “no free speech” area rules come into affect?

When did FR become PCRepublic?

Why was this change not communicated to users?

I think this place is going to become a havan for cults;
