This is a new posting based on the link I sent you.

It mainly deals with the story of the Jesuits.

But it mentions that all of the Franciscans of the Immaculata survived in Nagasaki.

The Plutonium bomb was very poisonous, and apparently the chief reason these people were spared was because the church they were in was protected by a hill.
