Natural disasters 'escalating like labor pains' may be linked to the return of Jesus, says Rev. Franklin Graham. In an exclusive Newsmax.TV video, the evangelist says the end could come in 2012 or later.

Well if they ever win again you’ll see the sacrificing of goats in downtown Chicago.
Will not be here for all that...
Happens after the Rapture...
“Jesus told us specifically about *Signs and Seasons* that would signal his return...”
Yes...and He peomised a Crown of Rightousness for those who watch and yearn for his appearing.
Even if it is, Franklin should not make any comments. People may react to his pronouncement in a wrong way.
Who is he he, when Christ Himself did not want to predict the end of time? Let it come as a thief in the night.
Yup. The prophetic writings of scripture regarding eschatology (end-times), is for the benefit of those actually suffering through those times, meant as a hope for those in what may feel like hopeless situations, as they look BACK and see fulfillments.
When Christ returns he will be pleased with those who are about his business and displeased with the "Eschatological Argumentation Society."
Graham's fund raising calendar is full thru then. After that, all bets are off.
You are in-correct...
Have you read Matthew 24?
Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46 It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. 47 Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 48 But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, My master is staying away a long time, 49 and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. 50 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. 51 He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Who is Jesus speaking of in the Parable of the Foolish and Wise Virgins?
You have a lamp, but no oil in it......
Saint Paul clearly indicates that he is referring to the Return of Christ: we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord...
And so it starts. It's going to be an interesting read in this thread.
It is meant as a warning so that people can prepare by coming to Christ for salvation and being counted as worthy to escape what is coming on the earth.
God has done us the favor of telling us ahead of time about the judgment He is going to send on this earth. Many people are saved after hearing about the details of how this age is going to end.
It's not just for those who will be here during the Tribulation.
The end of the Age is the Church..Once the church is removed then the *Wrath of GOD* comes upon the earth...
Did Noah fall into the water?
Did Abraham escape the fire of Sodom?
They were not part of GOD’s wrath, the Lord has not changed his ways since the beginning....
The resurrection at the end of the Tribulation includes all of the dead unsaved who will be raised for the purpose of judgment.
The Rapture and the resurrection at the end of the Tribulation are two separate events for two separate purposes.
You are correct but we will see signs of the impending end, we must be prepared.
And you are absolutely sure that you are righteous enough that you will be taken up in the rapture. I have lived a pretty clean life but I am not sure. I hope, but perfect is pretty hard to achieve.
All through the centuries of Christian persecution, the torture, the horrible deaths by burning and killing, can you honestly look into their faces and tell them the persecution you've gone through? The material things, no starvation, no depredation of any sort. The access to medicine, hospitals the outright enjoyment of life. You can look those people in the face and tell them how bad you had it? I would rather suffer through the anti-Christ and all it entails and be able to hold my head high and say "Yes, I've suffered as you have" - not enjoy what I have now on earth and say that I've suffered as you have.
On the other hand, the biblical teaching of the first resurrection is more straightforward. On the day Christ returns to earth to establish His Kingdom, the dead in Christ will rise first, and those who are alive and converted will follow. They will meet Him in the air and immediately return to earth as a vast army of spirit beings to defeat the Beast and False Prophet in the Valley of Jehoshaphat (Revelation 19:14; Joel 3:1-2; Zechariah 14:1-5).
PS. God’s wrath has always been on the non-believers. Never his children.
Sir, the Internet is an amazing tool. You merely have to plug in to your favorite search engine any word, thought or idea and come up with answers that suit your particular belief. Try it.
The Rapture refers to when Christ returns to Earth to conquer Satan and is spoken about in Revelation 16:15-17 and Revelation 17:4 and when the believers will join Him in heaven, before death, which is spoken about in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. However, the word “rapture, is never mentioned in the Bible.
