Proclamations like this are reckless and discrediting. Earthquakes happening in an area where earthquakes happen is nothing to hang your hat on with the coming end.

There’s too many indicators that have not taken place yet.
The signs He gave us to watch for are happening now, all of them, in conjunction with one another and are getting more frequent with increasing intensity. Just like birth pangs.
Yes, we are in the season of His return - ours is the generation.

The Earthquake
There were three simultaneous events that happened during the earthquake at Jesus’ death that are of major importance to the fulfillment of the prophecies concerning the destruction of the Temple and Jerusalem:

Jesus return will signal a global earthquake....

It certainly IS in sight. However, OTHER things must transpire before we gather upon the Plains of Megiddo.

I do think that we are living in the last days, but we have been ever since the nation of Israel was established in 1948. We know that Christ could not return until after that happened, but there are also other prophecies that have not been fulfilled (such as the rebuilding of the temple that was destroyed in 70 AD).
The Bible also says that there will be "wars and rumors of wars" as well as earthquakes and other natural disasters in the last days. There certainly have been an increase in those lately, but no man shall know the day or the hour when He will return. We just need to be ready!!
The beginning started about 2,000 years ago.

Yes the Seals are being opened and as I believe in the Rapture of the Church, I think what you are speaking of happens after the *Rapture*

Who is he he, when Christ Himself did not want to predict the end of time? Let it come as a thief in the night.
Yup. The prophetic writings of scripture regarding eschatology (end-times), is for the benefit of those actually suffering through those times, meant as a hope for those in what may feel like hopeless situations, as they look BACK and see fulfillments.
When Christ returns he will be pleased with those who are about his business and displeased with the "Eschatological Argumentation Society."
Graham's fund raising calendar is full thru then. After that, all bets are off.

Saint Paul clearly indicates that he is referring to the Return of Christ: “we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord...
And so it starts. It's going to be an interesting read in this thread.
It is meant as a warning so that people can prepare by coming to Christ for salvation and being counted as worthy to escape what is coming on the earth.
God has done us the favor of telling us ahead of time about the judgment He is going to send on this earth. Many people are saved after hearing about the details of how this age is going to end.
It's not just for those who will be here during the Tribulation.
