Called in the loving plan of God, the Brothers of the Holy Trinity are a religious community founded in 1198 by St. John de Matha and renewed by St. John Baptist of the Conception.

As Trinitarians, we strive to model the love and unity of the Trinity in our prayer, communal living and in a variety of ministries.

Upholding the freedom of all people, especially the broken who are marked by the hardships of the human condition, we are committed to a way of life rooted in the Gospel and expressed in works of mercy and redemption.

The Order of the Most Holy Trinity founded and maintains a high school in Hyattsville, MD named after one of the co-founders of the order, St. John de Matha. DeMatha Catholic High School was founded originally as a minor seminary near The Catholic University of America, but soon thereafter started to enroll local Catholic young men not intent on the priesthood.

Today, DeMatha Catholic High School is a world-renowned institution especially famous for its Basketball Hall of Fame basketball program and its long-time basketball coach, Morgan Wooten, but also well-known for its excellent academics, excellent sports and excellent music programs. Approximately 1000 young men attend the school today. It serves as a college preparatory school, and approximately 100% of its graduates enroll in institutions of higher learning after graduation.
