Responding with sources to the truth, easily found for any sincere seeker is perfect in my opinion. My son was at the state geography bee Friday. I wish you'd been one of the judges because I would have told my son to answer every question by referring the questioner to the National Geographic website. In your world, that would a correct answer.
Of course, the opinion that matters on the quality of the answer is that of the questionner, not the answerer. That is, unless your objective is to avoid answering the question.
It’s many ready answers ready and waiting and helps weed out the fight-picking, blinder wearing anti-Mormons from the true seekers of truth.
These are adequate answers for only those who desperately want to believe. Any seeker who considers this evidence with their brain in the "ON" position will be disappointed. The quality of the evidence is sorely lacking and every non-answer provides a dozen more questions.

We can hope. But I fear he may be the “operative/handler” type in the LDS. May not even believe in god, just the social and economic “security” of the LDS and has to keep it going at all costs.

Actually answering certain question would force him to admit things that he simply doesn’t desire to admit. If he were a true seeker of truth he would not willingly ignore or cover for such demonstrably faulty teachings.
