Truly
I have never understood why Easter isnt the greatest holiday ever.
For Catholics, it is! The real meaning of coming to Christ and Christ coming to us.
I am not Catholic but I love The Father, Son and The Holy Ghost
The Holy Spirit is alive and well!
We have a very small parish and we have approximately 17 entering and a few who, as adults, are receiving confirmation, making their first communion, etc. For the size of this parish, that is a large number. AND, they are all SERIOUS about the Faith.
;-)
I’m getting comfirmed in June!
Then you should talk to an articulate, practicing, Catholic.
You have no idea what wellsprings of grace you cut yourself off from when you decide what the Church should be instead of allowing the Church to tell you what you should be.
God doesn’t usually punish those who refuse to follow his lead: he ignores them.
Congrats!
What good news for your parish. May it continue. As I said on an earlier thread — our Archdiocese had to split up the Rite of Election because there were so many!
We are blessed! You are already a soldier for Christ. I warn people that after your Confirmation, they better steer clear of you! LOL!
That's easy - because there is no Santa Claus & tree! How many chocolate bunnies & eggs does anyone really want????
We have a Muslim woman entering our church in RCIA. She talks about her brother, devout, well-educated but treats his wife just terribly. Our friend will not even SPEAK of Islam.
Congrats papertyger ((((Hugs)))))
Our Archdiocese had 3 Rite of Election ‘s.
Welcome Home Papertyger!!!
And welcome home to all our brothers & sisters!!!!!
I know many fallen away Catholics that I am praying the rosary for daily. I have no doubt that Our Lady’s lasso will bring them back!!!
