Divine Mercy Diary Exerpts

Jesus's words are in italics.  St. Faustina's words are in regular print.

"Your task is to write down everything that I make known to you about My mercy, for the benefit of those who by reading these things will be comforted in their souls and will have the courage to approach Me." (1693)

"Mankind will not have peace until it turns with trust to My mercy." (300)

TOPICS: Apologetics; Catholic; History; Theology
KEYWORDS: catholic; divinemercy; saints
This series will be excerpts from the Diary of St. Faustina. Some are short. Some are longer. I am keeping the spelling from the website in the title.

Pride

Know , My daughter, that I do not grant my graces to proud souls, and I even take away from them the graces I have granted. (1170)

.you always please Me by your humility. The greatest misery does not stop Me from uniting Myself to a soul, but where there is pride, I am not there. (1563)

I always find when I humble myself before God the greatest anointing of God comes to my spirit. I remember when I told someone who hated on the threads that I loved them in the Lord. I had a baptism of grace in the spirit so peaceful and beautiful. I fell back from the computer to lie in the bed. So sweet the spirit at times. I pray for them still.
