The extremely affluent and the extremely impoverished are same.
Neither has ability to adhere to coherent value system based on reason.
Both act out of momentary necessity.
I disagree with the statement about the extremely impoverished. I've been to India and seen the extremely poverished (and American poverty does not compare to the lives of the lowest of the low in the interior villages of india where no electricity or modern life intrudes, where the family of 7 lives in rags and has done so for generations and has no education at all and hunts and eats rats) -- and those poor, denied education of any kind, still have reason, religious reason and can still pray and choose God, choose Christ.
Dear sir, I respectfully say that you perjure the extremely impoverished by comparing them to the like of Madonna. The rich who have lost their sense of "grounding" are like butterflies who have everything and yet nothing.
