Lucky you, I'm jealous. I live in Florida, and it's a heat box today.
I just had to go out and let my mini cow, horse, and donkey in the barn.
They were head butting the gate, because it's even to hot for them.
However, they are very spoiled, and have me well trained.
hey I’m in the same state but we’re up near the ocean so we get the nice breeze and we’re in the north east part.
Are you down south.
We have the windows open and getting a nice cross breeze too BTW you have a private message
if you were close you could join us, no room for the cow, donkey and horse though LOL
nice , always wanted to go to your state as it looks beautiful and I heard you guys don’t get the humidity like we do, is that true?
say it again
It stays reasonably dry. There are only three things I don't like about Arizona: June, July, and August.
Right now the humidity is 7%.
was going to drive out to your state this summer but the gas prices are too much.
those months are awful here, mozzies, bugs, humidity etc then there are fires very now and again like last week
Unsolicited email from manc:
are you for real or just plain dumb or a wind up?
Everyone here plus others who have sent me private messages want to know because you seem very unhappy, you cannot grasp people have different views and lives to you.
you cannot answer a question throughout this thread.
You preach your faith and yet become a hypocrite over love, and respect.
you cant even see that and yet we all sit here having a laugh while you type from your house all alone.
Will he see that his questions were irrelevant?
Will he see his own hypocrisy?
Will he see that he has repeatedly ignored posts because he apparently couldn’t make a logically cohesive argument?
wow, private message so to clear the board up and take this debate private, very mature, how old are you?
now that is nice, don’t you guys have open carry too or am I thinking of another state?
time to have a beer or ten
“wow, private message so to clear the board up and take this debate private, very mature, how old are you?”
Wouldn’t you have to say it was merely your opinion that the board needed clearing up? Wouldn’t you have to say it was merely your opinion that this debate should be taken private? And if my opinion of my maturity is different than yours, then it must all be in the eye of the beholder or whatever, right?
See how well that works?
Open and concealed carry without permit. When you arrive at the Arizona border, you will be asked if you have a firearm in your possession. If you don’t, you will given one.
Summers here are intense. I would recommend winter visits unless you are visiting northern AZ.
Opinions vary, and according you that means...well, it means something, but you were never able to explain what that was or why it matters.
It is mature if you believe it is mature. (Oops!)
without a permit, that is great, here it gets hot but cannot have open carry which I don’t know where you put a P229 concealed in shorts and flip flops.
We were looking to go to Tombstone as a family, then head north to Flagstaff and then on to the grand canyon but like I said gas is expensive right now but if it does go down then I’ll take your advice and not go in those 3 months you mentioned
Southwest Airlines has some swinging deals, and Allegiant Air has a terminal in East Mesa:
LOL you are a character
I don’t see how mature it is when, in a debate on an internet forum, you insult the other person and tell him that you and your friends are having all types of negative thoughts about him.
It sounds like you’re the little kid who refuses to debate, but then throws out insults and cites the opinions of (possibly made-up) friends to say that someone has a problem in order to make them feel bad and “ganged-up on.”
“LOL you are a character”
Then maybe this is a case of being what I have. Then again, it’s all in the eye of the beholder so nothing is true, right?
We have big trucks that love to go 30mph on single lane roads.
St Augustine is beautiful. Although, I haven't spend much time there.
Oh, and I'll be opening a cold one for myself very soon.
hey thank you for that, it would be cheaper than driving even if I rented a car.
You ever been to Tombstone and if so is it worth the visit?
See, with posts like these, instead of admitting the other person is right or presenting a rational counterargument, you go with a personal insult. It’s seems to be quite a habit of yours on this thread, and it doesn’t make you look like the mature one.
you deserve it and I replied.
ah the stuck behind the truck
I'm embarrassed to say I haven't, but it is a beautiful part of the state. If you go to Tombstone, you really should set aside time to visit the Kartchner Caverns.
While you’re in northern AZ, you might want to take the family on a hike in the Lava Tube. It’s an easy hike and I saw families with little kids in there. Just make sure to wear shoes with hard soles because the rock floor has a lot of sharp little bumps:
You agreed to the following:
” Then again, its all in the eye of the beholder so nothing is true, right?”
So if nothing is true, then everything you say must be false, right?
that looks great and the info you have given us is very helpful so a big thank you
None of which have anything to do with what the church teaches.
Question, do you see the highest good in marriage, ‘achieving orgasm?’
Most of my other posts on this thread did have a whole lot to do with what the church teaches. The church only teaches unitive and creative and they don't talk about orgasms in encyclicals. What they implicitly teach to sensitive people who take is seriously is sexual repression which comes out in other ways, mostly destructive psychologically, physically or both.
They're more common sense now, but little boys have gotten the message that women are temptresses and cause them to sin. Little girls get the message that they have to be like the Virgin Mary. Then puberty sets in, people either get a balanced view of that part of life or they get all screwed up.
Question, do you see the highest good in marriage, achieving orgasm?
No. But it's a whole lot nicer when it's a part of marriage. It's personal what a couple wants and expects from marriage.
Organisms are nature's trick to get a couple to procreate. Except for the Virgin Mary. Without those, most of the whole human and animals kingdoms would have died out.
Adam and Eve it appears didn't procreate until after the fall.
“Most of my other posts on this thread did have a whole lot to do with what the church teaches. The church only teaches unitive and creative and they don’t talk about orgasms in encyclicals.”
Again, have you bothered to look at the statue of the ‘ecstasy of St. Theresa?’
Yes, the Church teaches that the unitive and procreative should be together, but not just because it’s in the best interests of society, but because frankly, it’s all about the best sex.
Are you really going to be able to be pleasured when you are on artificial hormones that prevent you from experiencing your natural highs and lows?
“What they implicitly teach to sensitive people who take is seriously is sexual repression”
Balderdash. The Church teaches the radical statement that conjugality is best acheived in marriage. You can interpret that to mean, “the Church is rejecting my sexuality, ergo they are repressive of sexuality in general.”
or, you can interpret it to mean that the church rejects your choices because they believe them to be self-destructive and contrary to the ultimate goal.
Do you believe that hormonal contraception hinders the body’s natural arousal responses?
For those who are unaware of the statue.
This was commissioned by the ‘repressive’ Church.
Was this the same one that was doing the cartwheels?
I've not seen the statue but pictures of it. A charismatic friend described a similar experience.
What I personally rejected were the birth control pill as it once was and hormone pills, not that I didn't make mistakes along the way.
Not everyone is able or willing to do it. And there are other equally grave sins.
Breaking Osama is dead, wow I thought he was dead for years. I want proof. They're going to try to get a DNA match. OMG. The broadcaster just made a terrible slip, "O-ama has been killed by a US bomb." FOX news. Bet they'll edit that out.
“Not everyone is able or willing to do it. And there are other equally grave sins.”
Yes, but we must all give them up, especially the ones that are most difficult for us.
I am thrilled that you understand what I am saying here.
“I’ve not seen the statue but pictures of it. A charismatic friend described a similar experience.”
The point isn’t that sex and the spirit are separate but that they work together...
The point isnt that sex and the spirit are separate but that they work together...
Yes, and this is fertile field for the enemy, seems one of his special preoccupations. I believe St. Terea's experience was real and from above.
I'm glad we had a meeting of the minds over it. I throw things out that that I've ruminated on for years. The bible backs it up, too, in Jesus' own words, but some won't accept it. Of couse it doesn't say anything about birth control except possibly in an oblique way.
Look, I learned some of this the hard way which is not the best way to go. I resisted hormones because something instinctively told me why mess with it if it ain't broke? Later it turns out they got new data and took them away from the very person apart from my personal physician that urged them on me.
Just because they are legal and the church allows menopausal hormones doesn't mean they are a good thing for every woman. I'm having an awful problem with these sexual stimulants. Why not just accept it as God's will and a normal part of aging?
For younger men who want to procreate, they might be all right so long as it isn't overdone.
Not my wife and I (and we're in our 30s).
