With Huckabee out, the next in line for the fundie vote is Sarah Palin (Extreme hurl warning)
The San Francisco Sentinel ^ | May 14, 2011 | Sarah Jones

Conservatives for Palin is rejoicing for the same reason some of you now have a dark cloud of fear hanging over your Saturday night. The fundie vote is up for grabs now that Huckabee is out and the second in line candidate is Sarah Palin. Yes, that’s right. Sarah Blood Libel Palin.

One day years ago, after the sportscaster fill-in job didn’t work out, a young Sarah Palin told a friend she wanted to be President one day. Today she wants it so bad she chokes on her own bitterness every time she has to say “Obama”. Palin has still not managed to disguise her anger and pettiness; it seeps through the hockey mom persona, visible in the curl of her lip and the jab of her accusatory fingers.

As always with Sarah, nothing she does makes any sense, leaving the pundits in the dark about her 2012 intentions. For example, it doesn’t look like she has a machine ready to run. She just parted ways with Scheunemann, her foreign policy adviser and only holdover from the McCain “Straight Talk Express” days, and is now palling around with Peter Schweizer, a fellow at the Hoover Institution and a former Brietbart blogger slash foreign policy adviser. Plus, we all know Palin doesn’t like to work. She quit her job, after all.

But she quit her job as citizen watchdog on the Energy Commission and used that to propel herself to the Governor’s mansion eventually. Who knew that quitting could be a stepping-stone? But in Sarah Palin’s case, it has been.

Sarah has ignored the advice of nearly every adviser out there, from Roger Ailes to Steve Schmidt and her polls reflect this. Palin is prone to paranoia and because of this, she doesn’t have many people she trusts. Or rather, there is no one she trusts.

Palin has made a seemingly endless stream of steady mistakes in the two and a half years since her powerful entrance to the national political scene. Through all of these transgressions, Palin has emerged relatively unscathed. Ironically the single largest thing that brought Palin down was her Blood Libel video. Americans loathe self-pity and Palin showed her propensity for it a little too clearly in that homage to her sense of victimhood and entitlement.

But she has kept a loyal following of far right conservatives and fundamentalists and given the way the Republican primaries work, Palin has a shot at winning her party’s nomination.

Palin is an enigma; she never governed like the rabid right winger she presents herself to be today on one hand – in fact, she was the most socialist governor we’ve had in a while – but on the other hand, she has always been a viciously competitive person who has never shied from using Evangelical siren calls of Jesus to further her ends. And Sarah Palin’s end is power.

Wow. Is the writer on meds?

If so, she needs a bigger dose...

Progressives reserve this kind of venom for those they must "take out" of the political picture.

Sara Palin makes Obama look bad.

Obama's feeling the heat so he's "saying" he'll allow more oil production (but those in the know recognize "smoke and mirrors" foolery when they hear it).

You can smell the fear.

If Sarah runs, I hope and pray she is doing some work with her speaking style. The last time I heard her (at a Madison Tea Party), while everything she said was spot on (”fight like a girl”), she tends to shrieking. This is a huge negative to me, and I’ll bet to many others.

She needs to use Margaret Thatcher as her rhetorical model.

I grow ever more weary of these incoherent left wing smirkers.

Whther the "Barracuda" runs or not, the hysteria she generates in the Left Wing is wonderful.

Actually I do not think she is going to run for president. She is making way too much money right where she is. Now that will make the left really pissed off. She is too successful to run.

I disagree. She may not run, but if not it won't be for more money. She has already made more than she needs, so the real question is where she can do the most for America. I hope she will decide that is from the White House, and I'm certain money will not even be a factor in that decision.

I wonder if the author is even capable of reading Palin or listening to her platform

Nearly every line in the extended version of the article is taken directly from comments made about Obama. (narcissist, thin skinned, lazy, and more) As they pertain to Obama these criticism are based on the facts of his behavior. They do not describe Palin.

Liberalism is based on fantasy. Spinning the truth to match the fantasy of utopian idealism makes it possible for liberals to stomach their own lies. The only reality for a liberal is the one they pretend. Because they are so insistent upon fantasy it is not possible to engage liberals in a search for truth or a rational conversation.

Conservatives are constantly mining for truth. They will suspend disbelief to hear out a liberal, trusting that some truth may emerge. It never does.

After being led down the primrose path of Marxist ideology the conservative often finds it too late to easily backtrack to the truth. This is the tragedy of the RINO. They have walked, trustingly, hand in hand with zealots and now find they must justify their endless forays into the madness of taking Marxists seriously. They want to appear cooperative and reasonable, not understanding that one cannot cooperate with consummate evil and lies and deception are not reasonable.

Once the American people waken to the truth of evil there is war. It may be bloody or it may not but there will be war.

Let there be no mistake, Obama has opened Pandora's box of Marxist chaos. The demons cannot be hidden. The truth, finally, is shining and the lies are exposed. The shackles of uncontrolled government are right now being welded with pretty lies on the hands and feet of every citizen. That is the truth.

Palin's joy is throwing off the chains and living free. She comes out of Alaska, the final bastion of freedom. She will lead us forward to the land of freedom and truth that is our birthright.

I saw that too.

Wallace mentioned everyone will benefit from Huck being out except Gov. Palin. Sarah was never mentioned at all. Thats when I turn to the Weather Channel. Rain all day. :(

Exactly. Liberalism always sounds good on a bumper sticker, but when put into action all sorts of "unexpected" consequences arise. The "Drilla from Wasilla", would win decisively, IMHO.

They really can’t help themselves. I wait for the day Palin announces to watch their reactions. With good reason they fear her and they can continue with these attempted smears but Palin has shown she is not afraid to take them on.

That’s all I needed to read in order to realize the author of this hit piece is a deranged moonbat bitch.

“Conservatives for Palin is rejoicing for the same reason some of you now have a dark cloud of fear hanging over your Saturday night.”

This article sure showed your own personal “dark cloud of fear”, Sarah. How ironic that you share the name of someone so much more worthy than yourself, yet feel free to libel her ruthlessly. “Blood libel” indeed.

Sarah Palin is the fresh breath of air and shining light that this country desperately needs. You and your slimy ilk will never understand how she wins the next Presidential election. Yet she will win, and America will benefit greatly. I expect in her first four years she will be more than able to turn around the terrible dissolution and funk brought on by your deity, 0.

Palin ‘12!!!

Not certain I understand.

Why is there a “hurl alert” on this?

Was just watching FNC while the morning crew was interviewing a political consultant of some sort. Reminded me of Karl Rove.

He danced and dodged, and pretty clumsily tried to avoid even saying the name “Sarah Palin”.

Is that what you are doing?

Were she to run, she would spread poison and hate faster than a California brush fire.
She's describing Obama! That being said, I wish Sarah would be an awesome "family" role model, and steer away from politics until her kids have grown.

A candidate IMO that could beat Obama would be someone like Bobby Jindal. We all need to pray, because as Pope Benedict has said, The very future of the world is at stake.

Ha,ha , these endless hatchet jobs on Palin are more amusing for the contortions of hate and frothing at the mouth the scribblers go through writing them anything else. Undoubtedly, Miss Jones was sucking on a bottle of bile before she began this miserably, awful column of hate. Again we have a lib scribbler who never bothers to examine any of the issues and ideas about the role of government that Palin offers. Again we have a column almost totally consisting of ad hominem attacks. Obviously, she doesn’t have a clue about any of the basics of conservatism. Of course, it wouldn’t be much different whoever the Pubbie is, unless it was the biggest Rino in the field. These nuts, and Miss Jones is a queen-sized lunatic, are totally incapable of scrutinizing anybody fairly.

As time goes on it becomes clearer that Sarah is the candidate for conservatives. We know where she stands,we agree with her on most issues and the country agrees with Sarah on the important issues. Go Sarah Go!
