Family Radio says the rapture will start at 6 pm local time. Kiritimati is 16 hours ahead of UTC which gives the rest of the world plenty of time (and the U.S. by midnight Friday into Saturday) to figure out if this supposed rapture is to take place.

If He pull off a Rapture, just watch to see if the Neighbor who always mows his lawn at 4:30 on a Saturday is out there, the one who doesn't let kids on his lawn, and if so, at 6:00, watch to see if there is a popping sound and his mower hits tha garage...

If he is still there at 6:30, you don't get his car.

The Rapture thing is cruel! Who will come in and feed our poor cats and bunnies? Does a loving God really hate His creatures?

All claim to have atheists, non-Christians, or agnostics who don't believe in the Rapture who will go out, retrieve and care for any pets whose owners are Heavenly occupied. I'm sure mostly it's tongue in cheek tweaking, but hey, any reports from New Zealand yet?
