I know some of you are already aware of our loss, but as this thread ran on the Religion forum I assume Sion's passing is not known by all.
Although Sionnsar no longer lived in Michigan he kept himself very well informed of all of the issues we face here, and he was very involved with the whole mitten crowd. This is a sad loss for us all, especially his widow LibreOuMort and their family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Libre.

It has been said, “The pen is mightier than the sword.”
If, then, we reserve a holiday to memorialize those who have “wielded the sword” on behalf of this great nation, how ought we memorialize those that have wielded the pen? Indeed, they are also every inch warriors, but they fight upon a different field; they fight the War of Ideas, which are more deadly than swords. A man may die by the stroke of a sword, but a bad idea can destroy an entire nation, or even the whole world.
So, how to remember them? I do not deign to answer, but leave the question as food for thought.
Rest In Peace, sionnsar, for in the tireless quest for Liberty others have come after thee, and now carry forward those noble ideas for which you were such a great and worthy champion.

I am blessed for having had such a wonderful husband in Sionnsar and today I am blessed with the FReeper family that he loved so much and that has carried me and my girls through the valley of the shadow of death. Sionnsar lives! in the nearer presence of His Lord and Saviour. In that I greatly rejoice, though for a while I must live without him. I know I shall see him again. God’s love rest upon you all.
Thank you! I am sure Sionnsar is pleased with how you all have carried on. I am grateful to you all for the FRiendship you have shown me and my family. I will never give up the fight.
