Camping May 21 Rapture and the Replacement Theology Lie
vanity | 5/21/11 | marbren

Camping is a victim of replacement theology. IMHO the lie of replacement theology is almost as insidious as idolatry. The key to holistic understanding of Bible prophecy is to understand the role of Israel in it. God keeps his promises to Israel. This is a model to the rest of us that he will keep his promises to us as well.

A majority of the church going world has been victimized. I believed the lie for 35 years. During the past 20 I have been seeking the truth and only recently did I stop saying IMHO replacement theology is a lie and replaced it with: Replacement theology is a lie dropping the IMHO. For those that do not know, Replacement theology is the lie that the Church has replaced Israel in God’s plan.

The church was polluted by Replacement theology early on. Origen and Augustine, early Fathers of the church, were the first to muddy up the scriptures in this way when they arrogantly took on the mantle of Israel for themselves. Martin Luther apparently did not study it and this lead to his anti-Semitism and Hitler. In many ways IMHO it is like a reverse of the circumcision party that led to Acts 15.

This replacement theology lie has lead to the church we have today. Everyone is running around not knowing what is happening in these end times we are in. The truth is The Church, the Bride of Christ, has a role and Israel has a role. Think of men and women, children and parents, husbands and wives, angels and people, dogs and cats, sheep and goats, wheat and tares. All these have roles God invented.

So the solution: Open your Bible, drop your preconceived notions and open your mind, ask God to reveal the truth about all this Israel stuff written in the Bible. The Lord Jesus Christ is central in it all. Gods Grace and Mercy is incredible, He does all the work. Faith and hope and love permeate the entire Bible and the greatest of these is love.

Satan will have his share from such hideousness.

However,

he cannot touch

ALMIGHTY GOD’S CAPACITY TO WORK *ALL* THINGS TO THE KINGDOM’S BENEFIT.

I don’t doubt that if Amie, under the anointing, had laid hands on a willing Camping, Camping would have felt a jolt from Holy Spirit like he’d never have experienced before.

I never found his mind any more open to truth on such matters than most RC minds hereon are.

I did give it several triesl—on the call-in show and once in person face to face.

So, you are prepared to deny the following:

"Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have not hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord’s own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever." (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17)

Be honest, now. Don't be afraid to stand by your doctrine, even if it means denying Scripture.

Are you prepared to deny that passage which clearly states that Jesus Christ will take whose "in Christ" off this earth?

Ministers who preach hatred of the Catholic Church breaks up families and is hardly useful. I would suggest an agenda is driving their doctrine in many cases.

. . . rather like the the RC priests who demand that the CINO’s tow the line or break up families for not following the hidious hogwash from the Vatican Cult. . . . that would be 70% or so of the folks calling themselves RC.

WRONG AGAIN.

Mystifyingly, Scripture even indicates that there will be sacrifices during the Millenial reign of Christ.

Interesting that y’all continue to put it out there.

It might be at the library. He is very thorough in his assessment of The End Times. You might not like the Catholic references that are specific to the Church, but so far, I have found that it is quite Christian oriented.

Did you check out any other reviews on Amazon?

The fact that it was written in 1881 is, in itself, astounding to me.

Just show me where the bible sanctions Sola Scriptura without using your self interpretations of scripture to justify what was invented almost 1600 years after the Bible's compilation.

All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16)

We know that the Bible is the Word of God. The Bible declares itself to be God-breathed, inerrant, and authoritative. We also know that God does not change His mind or contradict Himself. So, while the Bible itself may not explicitly argue for sola scriptura, it most definitely does not allow for traditions that contradict its message. Sola scriptura is not as much of an argument against tradition as it is an argument against unbiblical, extra-biblical and/or anti-biblical doctrines. The only way to know for sure what God expects of us is to stay true to what we know He has revealed—the Bible. We can know, beyond the shadow of any doubt, that Scripture is true, authoritative, and reliable.

This incident with Camping has made Christianity a laughingstock to the secular humanistic crowd

I absolutely agree with you there.

all the believers can do is distance themselves from the rapture and evangelical types to preserve the Faith for ourselves.

Well, since the doctrine of the event of the Rapture is in Scripture, and therefore given to us by God, I believe it and have no intention of "distancing" myself from it. The Rapture will happen, God said it will happen, and a million false prophets can come on the scene and make a mockery of that Scriptural doctrine and those who have absolute faith in God and what He has written will not stop believing it.

As far as distancing oneself from evangelicals, with the way some of them are buying into the end-time deceptions which are flourishing, I may have to agree with you there too.

Actually, in some respects, his personality is more like Walter Mitty.

When I challenged him face to face, he seemed like a poor, confused, befuddled, Sancho Panza . . . a bit confused, troubled and dismayed that I wouldn’t take up the sword against the windmills of his mind.

He couldn’t see that I was doing, in a sense, exactly that.

I honestly think he’s doing the best he knows how to serve The Lord Jesus and His Kingdom.

He thinks he’s being exceedingly Biblical etc.

He does have a kind of stubborn pride but it’s not per se based on his own view of his own goodness—EXCEPT in terms of his ‘SUPERIOR’ Biblical interpretations.

He’s somewhat got a similar personality to Sam Walton founder of Walmart.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see him riding around in an old beat-up pickup decades old.

The role of the church is the Bride of Christ.

And your point is....?

Just a stab in the dark here, but the thought is probably that Israel according to the flesh is the wife of Yahweh, as distinct from the bride of Christ. I have heard such from some of the dispensational school.

I know, it's pure looney-tunes.

whether in Marian devotion, or, other forms of worship.

Wait - you need a proofreader before posting and making catholics' liars! Remember the talking points - 'catholics don't worship Mary, the CC code word is venerate'. Despite the fact that the synonyms for venerate are adore, deify, glorify, revere, reverence, worship - catholics ignore it.

but because I knew that there had to be at least one Catholic bashing post.

And that post is yours!! Funny how that works out - pointing a finger at someone else - and meanwhile.......

Bottom line which is common knowledge - the RCC and it's members are into IDOLATRY.

private interpertation of Scripture leads one to all kinds of weird theology.

And those without The Spirit show a complete lack of knowledge - as your post clearly shows. Man is seperated from God due to sin, not Satan. LOL!!!!!!!!! Your time is up for a major oil change!

Talk about weird theology - you take the prize!
