Harold came up with the “second date” by allegorizing (the usual indicator of error) the 153 fish that the Disciples caught after Christ's Resurrection (He told them to fish on the other side of the boat).
153 is a cool (triangular)? number (if there are any mathematicians out there that read this) but Camping is just plain illogical to make it 153 days of tribulation.

(1 John 5:4-5, 4:15, 5:13; John 3:17-18, 6:69, 11:25, 14:6, 20:31; Rom10:8-11; 1 Tim 2:5; Titus 3:4-5)
I once heard a Bible teacher say that the 153 fish represent the 153 nations on earth at some significant point in the past; an apparent allusion to Matthew 4:19 and Mark 1:17. Wish I could remember it all.

By coincidence, I have exactly 153 days worth of rations.
Excuse me, while I hide in my basement for the next 5 months playing video games, while you suffer and die.
