Vision [from 2005--Hard Times ahead]
email via Meri Ford | August 2005 | Delta V.

Posted on 05/27/2011 1:35:49 PM PDT by Quix

Vision:

I saw a "cut out" of the US, lying flat, "sandwiched" between two pieces of plastic wrap. The wrap was sealed at the ends. Then, I saw a forefinger lift the top layer of plastic wrap, breaking the seal at the edge in a small place. Over and over I saw that finger lift the edge of the top layer of plastic wrap at various places on the edges of the "cut out" of the US. Where the edge of the wrap was lifted, it left an opening between the layers. Those were places where the country was not covered by the wrap.

A hand became visible which the finger was attached to. The finger was pointing at the cut out of the US. Not at any particular place, but just pointing here and there. Then it moved to an edge and pulled the wrap back. Afterward, the hand opened, and moved away.

Then, as if watching some sort of fast flashes of places, I saw several things. First in a forest, I saw people in lean to type structures made out of wood and material (sheet?). The people were destitute, looked hopeless. There was something cooking over a fire. Suddenly, I was in city streets, perfectly good buildings were deserted. People were in doorways, leaning out windows, or aimlessly walking. I did not see any businesses or traffic. Just concrete and buildings. Some children were clutching dolls. Some were playing with a ball in the street.

Again, I saw this in quick "flashes".

I asked G-d what all this was.

The plastic wrap represented the covering G-d has on the US. The finger separating the edges of plastic over the "cut out" of the US was from Him, allowing places for adversities to come to the US. The appearance of the hand represented His Hand, removing the cover from protecting a large area then putting His Hand back over it before withdrawing. When I asked when, how long, I did not get an answer, but it just "feels" like 5-6 months.

While people have been saying Katrina was G-d's judgement on New Orleans for sins, He showed me a different view. New Orleans' sins are no more than any other city in the US. It's location would affect the whole nation in many ways. In His mercy, G-d saved more people than man realizes. New Orleans reveals the heart of this nation.

The heart of this nation has become hardened to G-d and opened to the ways of man. Instead of people, we count appearance to be important. Instead of souls, we count money to be important. Instead of homes, we count technology and buildings as important.

We flaunt our sins. We have lost our modesty. No longer do we feel shame. We openly wave it in front of all to see. We no longer share His love without condition. Instead, we have pride, and religion, and callousness, and rebellion, and fear of hardship. We have become lazy and lukewarm. This is not the worldly people G-d is primarily addressing. It is the CHURCH.

What happened in New Orleans gave us, as a nation, opportunity to repent. Instead we yelled at our leaders. Indeed our leaders have made poor decisions regarding blessing Israel. Our leaders are acting according to the heart expressed of the Church. People in our nation acted to rescue the poor and disabled. We gave and continue to give to the needs of those in this tragedy. We see it as an enemy to subdue and overcome.

We no longer realize when we need to repent, bow down, and acknowledge our inability in ourselves. Our nation openly scoffs unchallenged at there being only one way to G-d. Our nation no longer recognizes G-d as G-d. Instead, any name we call Him by is acceptable, as long as we don't make anyone angry. We fear proclaiming truth.

The Church clings to the warm fuzzy words of encouragement. These put us equal to G-d, declaring He has given us power to the point that we proclaim we have power that is His alone. Yet we do not realize we are declaring ourselves to be able to do that which is attributed to the Lordship of G-d and His Son, Jesus. We don't want to be uncomfortable. We are special. We should not have lack, or be in need.

We want the birthright of the firstborn without the responsibility of the care of our siblings. We desire to be only Children due to our selfishness. We see ourselves as Abel, when instead we are as Cain.

Our rebellion is that as of Babel, in that WE will build, and WE will ignore warnings. Instead, WE will be brought down to our knees by G-d.

When I ask the Lord about the people in the forest and in the city, He directed me to Revelation 3:16 - 19 CJB

"So, because you are lukewarm, neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of my mouth! For you keep saying, 'I am rich, I have gotten rich. I don't need a thing!' You don't know that you are the one who is wretched, pitiable, poor, blind and naked! My advice to you is to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be be rich; and white clothing, so that you may be dressed and not have to be ashamed of your nakedness; and eyesalve to rub on your eyes, so that you may see. As for me, I rebuke and discipline everyone I love; so exert yourselves, and turn from your sins!"

We are children in need of discipline and the care of our Heavenly Father. We are those in the forest and in the city...equally in need.

G-d loves His Church, (the people who believe in Him and His Son). He is a healthy Father, and He corrects those He loves. He has against us much that He has against the Church in Laodacea. The Church not only has lost it's love for Jesus; we've lost the passion (not lust) for Him.

Religious pride will rise up in many at these words of rebuke and correction. Many will ignore, and be as the Pharisees. Jesus/Yeshua will still walk with the repentant who see their need, just as He did when He walked this earth in physical form.

The plastic being pulled back, and then God's hand covering it after a small time, represents a greater susceptibility to exposure to the enemy.

The following months will bring us trials to endure. It will reveal the result of that which we have sown. How we handle the challenges ahead of us in the following months will determine the extent of that exposure.

If we repent for our sins, see our need, and humble ourselves before G-d, He will help us through the trials ahead. Our priorities will not be structures. Our priorities will once again be the poor, the disabled, the widowed, the orphan, the sick, feeding the hungry, and taking in the homeless. The one true G-d will be the only One we will speak of when we say "G-d". We will know our need of His Only Son, Jesus/Yeshua. We will be thankful, and we will be humble, and we will not judge by appearance.

He is making us to be in His likeness....

Amen

We have known from Scripture that in the END TIMES,

LAWLESSNESS would increase dramatically. And so it has and still is.

THE MESSAGE translates the term ANTI-CHRIST as ANARCHIST.

Certainly chaos and lawlessness is being set up on one end and fierce tyranny on the other.

WALK WITH GOD! LOVE GOD FOREMOST, THOROUGHLY, UNSURPASSINGLY. LOVE OTHERS AS SELF.

Little else will matter much at all.

Word From Yerushalaim

Following is a report on an a evangelistic outreach which took place in Tel Aviv about two weeks ago. Please continue to pray that the Lord open the eyes of Israel to see their only true Salvation Yeshua.

________________________________________________________

Witnessing History in the Making - 500 people respond to an altar call at an outreach conference in Tel Aviv - Israel

Over 700 people attended a 2-day conference. Most of them NON-believers and many of the guests at the conference were an older generation, holocaust survivors and many other Israelis. For most of them it was the first time they had ever heard the gospel of a Jewish Messiah preached to them. Their response was overwhelming!

Photobucket

On the first night more than 300 people responded to the altar call, came forward to receive Yeshua as their Messiah! The second night 200 people also gave their lives to Yeshua. It has exceeded all our expectations! We have never seen such a large number of people in Israel responding to the message of Yeshua.

We saw what a difference our social work makes. The love, patience and help to people does wonders. We thank God that Voice of Judah is a ministry that continuously bears such fruit.

It was genuinely a historic event; something that hasn't been seen in Israel in the modern days. To see countless of people coming forward to receive prayer for healing and the testimonies kept pouring in from people who were amazed to discover they were healed.

Photobucket

Ezekiel 37:1-14 speaks about "dry bones",

"Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel . They say, 'Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off..." (v.11)

"This is what the Sovereign LORD says: 'My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel . Then you, my people, will know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. I will put my Spirit in you and you will live..." (v.12-14)

Photobucket

When the British, American and Soviet soldiers liberated the concentration camps, many of them saw the same horrifying image that the prophet Ezekiel saw: valley, field or simply piles of bones and dead bodies. The survivors that they found in the concentration camps didn't look any better. They were literally walking skeletons.

But God made a promise and He kept it.

He opened up the graves (concentration camps) and took His people out of there. He brought them into the land of Israel and restored the nation of Israel in 1948. Some of these holocaust survivors are still living among us and the world witnessed the fulfillment of the first part of the "dry bones" prophecy - the physical restoration of Israel .

Last week at the conference we were awestruck to see God in action as He is fulfilling the second part of the prophecy - the spiritual restoration of the remaining generation of holocaust survivors.

While many times the youth gets all the focus of what God is doing among the young generation, it was indescribable to witness how God made a point of showing that He is far from done with the older generation, when hundreds of people answered His call during the conference to restore them spiritually after restoring them physically as a nation.

The Spirit of God was poured out mightily over the "dry-bones" generation last weekend and we have seen what has not been seen in Israel yet: the overwhelming response to an altar call of about 500 Israelis in Tel Aviv.

It brings tears to my eyes to realize how tremendously privileged we are to be living in Israel during these days and witnessing how God is fulfilling ancient prophecies right before our very eyes.

This appears to be a CHARISMA article I got via an email:

Has the Baton Been Passed to the Asian Church?
Wednesday, 25 May 2011 11:34 AM EDT J. Lee Grady Newsletters - Fire In My Bones

59Share

Last week in Singapore I saw the future of Christianity—and it has a definite Chinese flavor.

Last week during a trip to Singapore I enjoyed all the tastes and smells of China—chili crab, salted milk crab, prawns, ban mian (flat noodles), bak chang (rice dumplings), lychee fruits, chicken feet (not my favorite!) and several varieties of fish. But the flavor I savored most was found in the worship times at Cornerstone Community Church.

“Missionary strategists have already predicted that by 2035 China will be a Christian nation. Then nations of Asia, including Singapore, are positioned to be 21st century Antiochs.”

I got choked up while watching the young people at Cornerstone last Sunday. Hundreds of young people—mostly Chinese, many first-generation converts to Christianity—jammed to the front of the auditorium at the close of their youth service. Many were on their knees. Some were sobbing. They were all singing:

Set this generation apart for You
Let me be a part of what You’re doing
I want to stand in purity and righteousness
Set this generation on fire
Lord I will burn, I will burn for You.

This was not shallow emotionalism. These kids were dead serious about following God. I preached in seven services at Cornerstone last week, and every meeting was filled with high school and college students as well as young adults. A majority of the young people who attend the 3,000-member church are involved in weekly cell groups that offer discipleship training. At a leaders’ meeting held on Saturday morning, more than half of the church’s leaders were in their 20s or younger.

The church’s youth pastor, Paul Liu Jiancong, a thin guy whose English has a dignified British accent, knows that something unusual is stirring among the youth in his country of 5 million people. “Let’s press in for revival!” he exhorted the crowd. “Let’s consecrate our hearts!”

The founding pastor of Cornerstone, Yang Tuck Yoong, 52, knows that revival is much more than altar calls and emotional displays. It is measured by a growing number of solid converts. Here in Singapore, where the government enforces a policy of tolerance toward all religions, the number of evangelical Christians has been steadily rising in recent years. Many new Christians come from Buddhist backgrounds.

Anglicans and other mainline churches were hit with charismatic renewal in the 1970s and ‘80s, sparking a wave of church growth. Today Singapore is home to numerous charismatic megachurches. One veteran charismatic Anglican leader told me that the percentage of Christians in Singapore has now risen to 18 percent, up from 14 percent just a few years ago.

Yang and his wife, Daphne, started Cornerstone in 1990 when they were still Anglicans; they broke from that denomination in 1995, and Cornerstone became an independent Pentecostal congregation. The church now meets in a massive facility that was once a nightclub.

What I saw in Singapore last week filled me with hope for the future of the global church, for three key reasons:

1. They are taking world evangelism seriously. Last year Cornerstone Church sent out 52 short-term mission teams to various nations, including Uganda. Because Singapore enjoys financial prosperity (some analysts say Singapore has already passed the United States in per capita wages), many of its churches invest millions of dollars in mission work. Singapore already has one of the highest percentages of commissioned missionaries, per capita, in the world.

2. They understand the importance of the Holy Spirit’s power. Growing churches in Singapore have abandoned formalism to embrace Pentecostal doctrines. However, many of them also pursue biblical balance and stress the need for discipleship. At Trinity Christian Center, for example, a fast-growing Assemblies of God congregation pastored by Dominic Yeo, its 7,000 members are trained in weekly care cells.

3. They are investing in the next generation. One young man from Cornerstone named Nathaniel told me that he came to Christ from a Taoist background. “Many Taoists are coming to Jesus today,” he said. “As they become educated they are turning to Christianity. They are leaving the old superstitious religion behind.” These young people—many of them bright professionals—are now being trained to take their faith into the marketplace, or on the mission field beyond Singapore.

What does this mean for us? I believe it’s obvious we’ve entered a new season in which the Asian church will set the pace. The baton has been passed. Missionary strategists have already predicted that by 2035 China will be a Christian nation. The nations of Asia, including Singapore, are positioned to be 21st century Antiochs. I hope we will be humble enough to learn from them. And I pray they will stay humble enough to avoid the mistakes we’ve made in the West.

Of course, such narratives thrill this old China boy.

PRAISE GOD.

The relative lack of older Chinese citizens of Heaven will be changing! PRAISE GOD!

Colton Burpo saw lots of Chinese children in Heaven from all the Chinese abortions . . . but a RELATIVE scarcity, percentage-wise, of older Chinese graduated believers.

Am thrilled that is changing.

Am soooooo humbled and blessed to have had a part in loving so many Chinese students in His Name.

Even just singing hymns even in the government authorized church was such a moving experience. Those believers KNEW THE COST of discipleship.

Something Americans look to be on the brink of learning . . . the hard way.

Sad but true. I am watching CNN coverage of Tornado damage. We take God out of the Schools and Govt. then wonder where is God when things happen.

I truly believe alot of us will be killed for the faith in the future. We missed the boat since the sixties. Only this horror of today can wake us up to revival. I'm afraid. This revival will come in blood like the first christian's experience. Like the title bears to Justin Martyr. A Martyr! One of the first martyrs. Help us Lord Jesus for you alone are the Lord of All!! Praise Jesus!!

9And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held.

10And they cried with a loud voice, saying: How long, O Lord (holy and true) dost thou not judge and revenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

11And white robes were given to every one of them one; and it was said to them, that they should rest for a little time, till their fellow servants, and their brethren, who are to be slain, even as they, should be filled up.
