Do NOT compare that thing (I will not call it a church service) in Austria with any “cowboy church” in Texas. There may be a picnic after the service. During the service, the focus is on the Lord.
I think if people “come as they are” whether they are cowboys or carnival workers then there isn’t a problem. When people come to Mass in costume so we can all be mindful one another rather than God then there is a problem.
