Give me a break. Mormon is not some slur invented by real Chrisitans or other non-Mormons. LDS members identify themselves as “Mormon” all the time.
Or is the MORMON Tabernacle Choir part of some splinter group? What about all those TV ads that end with “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints -— The Mormons”?
As for the financial issues, I don’t have any problem with the Mormon Church having all those assets.
My problem is that they teach a different “word of God” (the book of Mormon) and a different Gospel, a different “Jesus” and a different God the Father, that are are fundamentally different from the authenthic, biblical ones. Many of their teachings about God are downright blasphemous.
