This was nice, thanks.

A joyous and grateful people give the first and best fruits to God. The community church is where everyone can come to worship and escape the outside world.

Whether I enter a shrine or a simple church, I know that the people who worship there have given what they can to God’s house because that is the way they thank Him for what we can never repay.

Criticism of money spent on Catholic churches would be right if in fact the Church does not do anything to help the poor, downtrodden and oppressed in this world. But, she does in larger numbers than many if not most other religions.

Do not conclude that generous dispositions which are foreign to you are necessarily foreign to all other human beings.

Excellent point. Like those who insist that that the world would end without government "charity," some people simply project their own selfishness onto the rest of humanity.
