To a greater extent than it used to, doesn’t the Federal government cut into charitable contributions?? Or is that just the plan?

Remember Obama’s “Shared Sacrifice” speech? I thought there was something in there about taking a bigger chunk of such contributions.

Essentially, the administration feels a need to get a piece of the charitable contributions market. Of course, this will effectively lead to less contributions.
