I would call Jeremiah Wright's brand of Christianity very unorthodox, and, yes, it is hurting us.

Liberation theology does indeed cause many problems, but their creed still doesn't mess with the deity of Christ.

To have the leader of the free world believe something antithetical to Christianity may very well cause lots of unforeseen problems.
