Religious Slurs in Lawyer's Memo Have Court up in Arms
Twin Cities.com ^ | David Hanners

In the sedate and sober world of bankruptcy law, one lawyer's memorandum sticks out like a sore loser.

"Across the country the court systems and particularly the Bankruptcy Court in Minnesota, are composed of a bunch of ignoramus, bigoted Catholic beasts that carry the sword of the church," the Nov. 25 filing said.

It went on to call one bankruptcy judge "a Catholic Knight Witch Hunter," said one trustee was "a priest's boy" and claimed another trustee is a "Jesuitess."

It got worse from there.

Hastings lawyer Rebekah Nett also called U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Nancy Dreher and other court personnel "dirty Catholics." Then she expressed concerns over what might transpire at a hearing docketed for next week, writing, "Catholic deeds throughout the history have been bloody and murderous."

People who spend their time writing and reading legal documents were stunned.

"I've never seen anything in 30 years of practicing law like this," said Brian Leonard, a bankruptcy trustee. "This is so far over the line, it's in another world."

Nett got her law degree from the University of Minnesota in 1999 and is licensed to practice in Minnesota and Wisconsin. There is no record of any disciplinary action against her in either state.

Nett said she didn't want to talk about the memo, but did allow that Dreher "yelled at" her about it Tuesday. She wouldn't elaborate, and Dreher's office declined to comment.

Nett also said the views expressed in the filing - which carries her signature - were those of her client. "Did I write what was in that paper? No," she said.

That itself could create problems for the lawyer. Rule 11 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure says that when a lawyer signs a submission to the court, she is attesting that she believes the submission.........

So, in other words, Miss Nett's client is not only a deadbeat who is too lazy to pay his bills, but he is also a bit whacked and likes to blame his problems on other people.

Is the guy still practicing law?—Or is he another failed
“progressive” funny man who can only get applause from a DNC fundraiser? This trail ought lead one direction his disbarment
and possible psych eval -clearly he was either under the influence of mind altering drugs—or was off his prozac when he wrote this crap.

It’s not like she was attacking gays, Muslims or atheists.

She will probably skate.

The Beatles song 'Rocky Raccoon':

"Her name was McGill,
and she called herself Lil,
but everyone knew her as Nancy."

I was making fun of the multiple names associated with the stupid attorney's crazy client.

With real stories like this, how does The Onion stay in business?

Ladies and gentlemen, I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again, sooner rather than later: We live in absurd times.

Considering that the current administration in Washington, D. C. is the most anti-Catholic governmental entity since the days of the “Know Nothings”, she just might get away with it or possibly get a job with Holder’s Hellions.

This kind of hatred is common in Leftist kookville on the internet. It is unbelievable how they despise Christains - Evangelicals and Catholics.

Leftist atheists, when they get State power, do not mass murder Christians because they love them and are concerned for their constitutional rights. Leftists have not hooked up with Muslims because they are for Jews and Christians. They love it that Muslims murder and oppress Christians and Jews.

We saw their faces at OWS. They usually work much more covertly in education, law and other positions of power to suppress the rights of and harm Christians. Rarely do to remove the mask of “separation of church and state” and “homoseuxal rights” like this.

I seem to remember Animal Farm mentioning a ‘rule’ about this kind of thing.

Didn’t that go something like, “Civil cases are never civil, but some are less civil than others?”

Well, at least one question was answered...no, not the "are they really dirty" question, I mean St. Paul MN IS sort-a close to French Canadian Provinces and all, but most Americans take plenty of baths (or showers). Just because the place is close to Canada doesn't make 'em stinky, unless they do stink.

To an immigrant from the Indian sub-continent, I'm told all we Americans "stink". I bet they just love the Frenchies...

But the heck is a Jesuit-ess?

Here we go;

..which is confusing. If regular 'ol Catholics are dirty, and these Jesuitesses were suppressed, uh, were they not dirty enough, or were too dirty even for the old Pope?

And how in the heck did these suppressed Jesuitesses get around to causing trouble for poor little Indian gas station/convenience store operators?

What did they do? Make him change out, replace his old rusty underground fuel tanks or something? Come calling for the State Sales Tax due? You, know, something low-down mean and dirty like that, just to be picking on a Hindu?

...it 'aint fair. The whole story stinks I tell 'ya...

I have it on reliable sources that there is no such thing as anti-Catholicism in this country. Therefore, this filing must never have happened.
