the staff of Aaron is a pretty interesting thing. turned into a snake and ate the snakes of the pharoh wizards. Pharaoh wasnt too bright and even after that little demonstration he didn't catch on that he should just let the Israelites go.
also known as "God's Radio" since once a year the high priest would activate it and talk to and listen to God. It was activated by dripping blood from a sacrificed animal. Only one Priest was allowed to perform the ceremony and report the communication. Or so i recall. I mean from scripture, not saying i was there.
“I recommend looking away.”
Heh!
ping for later
I thought it was boxed up in a crate in some archives of the federal government. At least, according to Steven Spielburg.
Another round of idolatry.
Yeah, you know what? Probably not!
Hilarious.
RLTW
It never was. So don't wait up for me guys. I won't be attending the "let's see the Ark" party. Just ping me and I'll read about it after it happens.
I have my doubts about this being the Ark of the Covenant, but wouldn’t want to spoil anyone’s fun.
I would image that with the extensive use it had in Moses's and David's day, people have seen it before.
I guess "pix or it didn't happen" applies here.
I wonder if it became accepted that this was the original ark what would the Israeli Government position be in regards to it? It was once housed on the temple mount where currently the Dome of the Rock mosque is. Me thinks it would be a trigger to a war we have never seen the likes of before.
To clarify: it is your opinion that the Ark of the Covenant was an idol?
Was Ron Wyatt a fraud?
The socialist establishment in Israel would regard it as a quaint, irrelevant artifact and would be happy it was found outside of their jurisdiction.
The idea of secular Israel launching a war for its recovery is just humorous.
It’s a moot point, because no “official” experts would ever concede it’s the real thing anyway.
A very British problem of a leaky church roof could be about to give the world the chance to glimpse the legendary Ark of the Covenant. That's because the claimed home of the iconic relic - a small chapel in Ethiopia - has sprung a leak and so the Ark could now be on the move.
Maybe, maybe not. Should it matter? Jeremiah tells us it will not be "remembered or brought to mind."
I listened to Chuck Missler recently go on about the Ark in Ethiopia. His scriptural backing for it scant and far fetched.
Boy, you and I go way back!
And you'd win. I myself remember the last one:
The Ark is not going to be revealed, says Gebremedhin [Orthodox leader: I never promised to show it]
Ark of the Covenant Story was Bad Translating, Hype
'Ark' revelation: Can they dig it? (Ark of the Covenant announcement 8 AM eastern)
'Ark of the Covenant' about to be unveiled (Friday June 26th at 2p.m Italian time)
'Ark of the Covenant' about to be unveiled?
'Ark of the Covenant' about to be unveiled?
And the Ark was also found on a Greek island. I know because it was on FR just last month:
