The Eastern Church STILL uses the LXX as its official Old Testament, just as the apostles did.
All of the Old Testament quotations in the New Testament come from the LXX.

The linage of David to Joseph as a joke is to cool off those who worship the “Bible: instead of Jesus . Even Jesus admonished us to not worship scripture. Chr*stians who try to convert Jews are wolves in sheep's clothing (and not just the Protestant ones). Catholics and Orthodox who don't want Protestants proselytizing them but who proselytize Jews are hypocrites.
I am not a Protestant (or a chr*stian at all). And last I heard, Catholics and Orthodox were not exactly one big happy family--except in the minds of ex-Fundamentalists trying to assuage their feelings of guilt for joining churches that believe in evolution and higher criticism.

The so-called “Reformation” resulted in an overreaction to the corruption of the late medieval Western Church and the establishment of a new religion.
“Romanism” and Protestantism are two sides to the same Scholastic coin. One adds while the other denies. Eastern Christianity is built on an entirely different foundation.
Explain something to me. Why is it the countries in Europe that were formerly Calvinist or Lutheran are now the most secularized and apostate?

Unless I get in trouble for having said what I said, then it wouldn’t matter in any case, so ping me only if I get in trouble.
Apparently you are interested in Christianity since you responded and seem to care about these. Your statements unfortunately are based on ignorance and misunderstandings. I realize that probably no one will convince you otherwise.
However I can tell you from personal experience that many misunderstandings I had about Christianity were cleared up via an in-depth bible study of Romans. I think it is only fair to yourself and your eternal salvation to get accurate information because discarding Christianity. If you don't like Catholics' views on Mary (which are quite different than your statements BTW) then become a Protestant. And don't let jerks in the Christian faith (jerks exist in all groups) keep you from eternal peace.
