Catholic ping!
Santorum for President Ping List. FReepmail Antoninus to be added or removed.
I’ll agree with this.
A lot of the Romney/McCain/RINO types are democrats and liberals who feel guilty about voting democrat. They want that republican stamp, even if the republican they vote for is a complete liberal.
That’s why I like Santorum. He really means it.
Hopefully Santorum keeps pushing forward and doesn’t start shrinking to try and consolidate his gains.
The last thing we need is a cowardly Republican who isn’t willing to lay everything on the line just to gain power.
I will definitely respect him if he keeps pushing the line, as if he might lose the nomination tomorrow because it could.
Hopefully Santorum doesn’t turn out like Perry and sound great for campaign, but it ends once elections are over.
Someone needs to remind them that the President’s powers do not make law or eradicate established law.
I think many RINO types would be Democrats if they could be overtly patriotic and a Democrat at the same time. It’s not cool to love America in most Democratic circles, so they prefer to be liberal Republicans. A couple of generations ago, they would have been Democrats.
The Rev. Santorum wants all contraceptives to be banned.
Now THAT is flat out silly. I hope that you aren’t really buying alarmist nonsense. Bob
Well, I’m not Catholic, but I sure love Santorum’s stance on the social issues. This article really hits the nail on the head-Santorum really does mean it when it comes to sanctity of life, traditional marriage, and the general moral decay of our society.
In fact, I remember in the 2008 campaign Santorum was on some radio talk show-don’t know if he’d yet endorsed Romney, but he was criticizing McCain. And his biggest complaint about McCain is that although he was “officially” pro-life, that Santorum had been inside meetings with McCain (when they were both senators) behind closed doors and said McCain had never wanted to fight for the life issue. Of course, we all know this to be true from McCain’s actions, but Santorum confirmed it with first-hand knowledge. I think this is a big reason why McCain has so much personal angst toward Santorum, and why he chose to announce his endorsement of Romney during Santorum’s speech Tuesday night.
where does rick stand on the 2nd amendment? anyone know?
i hope Rick does some asskicking.
I remember a few of those radio interviews. I think that is why Santorum was really pushing hard for Mittens when it looked like McLame might get the nomination. Some of Santorums stories about what a squishy loser McLame was with other Senators were shocking.
“A” rating when he was Senator. Very pro 2nd amendment.
Went to the site...and filled out a volunteer form.
Rick Rocks.....
“The Rev. Santorum wants all contraceptives to be banned.”
That is how the media mis-trumpets it, but this is what I actually heard Santorum say recently.
He said the federal government should not be in the contraception business. It is not a concern of the federal government.
Of course the media doesn’t parse it that way and tries to make Santorum an extremist on the issue.
When you have the courage of your convictions to the extent that you can’t Google your own name in front of your children, and you still don’t back down and compromise your beliefs—yes, I think that’s a good indication that he means it. That’s why I’ve liked Rick.
“He said the federal government should not be in the contraception business. It is not a concern of the federal government.”
EXACTLY!
