And modern Talmudic Judaism is NOT the Judaism of the time of Christ.

You are incorrect: Orthodox Judaism is largely the SAME Judaism of Hillel and Shammai, in the first half of the First Century.

Your knowledge of history and of Judaism is lacking. What you derisively call "modern Talmudic Judaism" is the continuation of what began with Ezra and the men of the Great Assembly. For you history-challenged, that is circa 400 BCE.

Although not finalized in the First Century, the Talmud is the compilation of commentary on the Mishnah, which is the written transmission of the oral teachings of Sages between 200 BCE and 200 CE. Matthew 19 makes reference to "Hillel" and Shammai" who are the LAST of the zugot. From them the basic framework of teachings of the Mishnah and the Talmud was finalized. They died during the first half of the First Century.

And there’s the matter of Jesus in the New Testament celebrating ‘Feast of Dedication’ - Chanukah, an exclusively rabbinic holiday.

Did Jesus say, “Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the Universe, Who has sanctified us with His commandments, and has commanded us to light the Chanukah lamps,” when there’s no Scripture ‘commanding’ it?
