Seventeenth century fashions worked in the 17th century.

They look pretty silly today. But some guys like dressing up in ermine and Prada shoes.

Hey "Doctor", is it true the OPC teaches it is OK to molest children? Or do they just tolerate and coverup these crimes?
The Times-Standard of Eureka reports that 50-year-old Dino Cardelli entered his plea Monday to sex abuse and molestation charges as well as 25 counts of violating a court order to not contact the victims.

Yuck, pretty ugly stuff here “Doctor” E:

Cardelli was arrested last September and charged with one count of recurring sexual conduct, three counts of lewd and lascivious acts and five counts of oral copulation, all with a single victim — a child under the age of 14. Early this year, prosecutors added more charges , alleging that there was a second victim and that Cardelli violated a court order by repeatedly contacting the alleged victim(s).

In the deal, entered on Monday, Cardelli pleaded guilty to one count of continuous sexual abuse of a minor under age 14, one count of attempting to dissuade a witness, 25 misdemeanor counts of violating a court order by contacting a victim, and, regarding the second victim, a misdemeanor count of annoying or molesting a child, according to District Attorney’s Office Public Information Officer Lynette Mullen. He faces a maximum of 18 years in prison, Mullen said.

And hey “Doctor” E, it looks like your “pastor’s” wife killed herself!

How tragic. Where was the OPC hierarchy? Do they accept this level of abuse as normal?

And hey “Doc”, have you noticed the OPC congregants defending this prevert? Why does your sect teach this stuff?

So let us recap, the Calvinist splinter sect that Dr E may belong to, teaches that child molesters may be part of the elect, has clergy who abuse children, wear robes and still maybe part of the “elect” and has members who defend these preverted monsters as “good people”.

And yet there are members of the OPC, who claim to be of the “elect” who regularly post falsehoods about what mainstream Christians believe. How very odd.

If what you said were true then much of the New Testament could not be discussed on the Religion Forum since some Jews might complain that certain claims by or about Jesus are “slanderous lies about Jewish beliefs.”
Can you post one or two of those claims?

You forgot the caption: mega-fake “church” known as Orthodox Presbyterian (OPC) flaming fag boy religious doctor, member of evil OPC sect filled with suicide-causing child-molesting dress-wearing “ministers” who spew lies all day long and then have orgies all night long.

Talk about perverted sects!

Did this OPC “reverend” “doctor” guy borrow the flaming pink dress trimmed with crimson velvet flames and glittery gold piping (and possibly pumps) from an OPC sect’s pervert?

All OPC doctoral degrees are worth a bucket spit and used contraceptives.

We can't help it that the doctrines and traditions of Calvinism change on the whims of a society in flux.

They look pretty silly today.

Surely you aren't suggesting that wearing robes is prohibited by the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, are you?

I always appreciate getting the opportunity to demonstrate that those who take the liberty to criticize the Church are really just blatant hypocrites. For example, they’ll criticize the Church because priests where robes, when in fact their own pastors do the same:

Please note that none of these photos are from the 17th century.

FYI these are all Orthodox Presbyterians or PCA. I thought I’d save the work for those who are scrambling to blame this on the PCUSA. I have more pics if you need.

Unfortunately, we don’t get to see their feet to determine if they are wearing red Prada shoes.

Two come to mind quickly: that Jesus is the Messiah the Jews were expecting and that he is the creator.

That is a red herring. Neither of those doctrines describe Jewish beliefs or practices. Nor has any Jewish poster here ever objected that I have seen.

The descriptions of the Jewish Messiah and God are part of their Holy writ, both in their scriptures and in their traditions. For an example of relevance to this sidebar, see Matthew 26:63-67

And, no they do not object. If they did, it would be difficult to sustain many caucuses on the Religion Forum.

If the majority of the Religion Forum posters dealt with spin-off theologies as they have, I would have very little to do.
