Secular humanist atheists have an ultimate goal for the world. They want as Paul Kurtz says “to build an ethical commitment to the world community as out our highest moral devotion”. World government is not just a desirable accomplishment for the Humanist; it is mankind’s highest moral calling. Any act by any individual that in some way hampers the move toward globalism is not only folly - it is morally wrong. As believers in evolution, they believe that world government is the next step in mankind’s evolutionary road to utopia. They fervently believe in mankind’s ability to achieve utopia, and they understand that the state must play a central role in guiding mankind onto the promised land.
Thanks for posting this.
Atheists need not agree to any of these, as their only logical motivation is self interest.
