This is an online class given by a dynamic rabbi in Israel. Probably mostly of interest to Jews, especially if you've never attended an authentic Jewish Torah (Bible) class. Enjoy
TOPICS: Judaism; Religion & Culture; Theology
KEYWORDS: essenceofthesoul; gd; torah

Rabbi Shmuel Braun is a Chabad-Lubavitcher who studied at the distinctly non-Chabad Ner Israel in Baltimore. Great teacher.

It’s pretty good stuff.
it’s a 480p file..takes about 150kbps to stream.
You can use the downloadhelper firefox plugin to download it though.
And use free VLC player to play the 281mb .flv file.

Listened to all 61 minutes. He is obviously deeply knowledgeable of rabbinic Hebrew and rabbinic writings in general, and is pretty clearly of the Lubavitsher perspective. He is a bit repetitive (sermonic) in his making of points. And he is an Ashkenazit in his pronunciation, which makes it harder for me to follow. But it was interesting. He reminded me a little bit of a prof I had years ago (but without beard).
I’m not looking for an argument, but I will still take Jesus as a better teacher of the Torah and its meaning.
