Hollywood will be making a movie about The Vatican. What could go wrong?
And it’s even worse than you think.
Warner Bros is making a movie called The Vatican, and it’s reportedly some kind of horror/conspiracy movie. Hmmm ... a movie that says the Church is up to something nefarious? Well, a movie like that has never been made, right?
But wait. It gets even worse. The director of the movie Devil Inside is directing The Vatican. Here’s the poster for that movie:
Yup. That’s a possessed nun with dollar signs in her eyes.
The Devil Inside movie opened up with a saying on screen: “The Vatican does not approve this film.” Something tells me that the Vatican won’t approve the next one either. But something also tells me these folks won’t care.
Oh, and don’t confuse this movie with the upcoming Vatican Tapes that centers on a series of events that unfold after a tape gets leaked from the Vatican displaying an exorcism that goes wrong.
Looks like Catholics are popular again in Hollywood.

LOL! We just read this in today’s Bible Study — talking about demons and why the demon in Sunday’s Gospel knew who Christ was.
"Last night I was in Starbucks. I was Talking with a nice Baptist Girl! We were talking about news and everything. I have Ipad device so did she have one.
Well I was there for two hours. The last hour my audio bible in Ipad mysterously came on to Jeremiah 31 with max maclean voice. We were surprised. We claimed it a miracle. So I have been studing this chapter.
I did not touch it. It came on all by itself. I think alot is going to happen this year. Jeremiah 31. There is so much in that chapter it is mind boggling."
I have been studying this chapter and parallel themes today.

We got to talking about how demons were previously angels, and one of the ladies always has questions — formerly Protestant so I always try to answer her.
Another lady and I both said 1/3 of the stars were swept from the sky and that this incident signaled 1/3 of the angels following Lucifer/Satan.
So we both looked for the verse, first in Genesis, and then I said, “No, it’s in Revelation.”
Lo and behold — the story of the falling of the angels. So we had a big discussion about why this happened and how these angels were only given one test — whereas we, with the Sacrament of Reconciliation, can have more than one test.
Very interesting. Finally the lady who ask the original question said, “I think that’s deep enough.”
It was one of the best Bible studies that I have lead in a long time.
Sounds like a Great study. I have to check in to the Local Church for a bible study. I have been here(Georgia) a little over a year. Amen.
I read the wikipedia entry for the Devil inside and there’s no mention of the Vatican saying anything about the film. The film seems to be about demonic possession and also explicitly has it that the Vatican does not allow exorcism unless there is adequate proof that it IS possession and then only has trained exorcists doing it. The untrained ones who do it get possessed. I don’t see any Catholic bashing in that, rather positive reinforcement that the Church knows the right way
