Perhaps the Catholic Church would consider founding an alternative for young girls. The Evangelicals/Pentecostals have been quite successful with the AWANA program.
My parish stopped their support for Girl Scouts several years ago. They now support the American Heritage Girls. They are unapologetically Christian in their principles. Although the organization is still small (up to about 17,000 members since its founding in 1995), it appears to me to be growing as a viable alternative for those parents who don't want GSUSA to brainwash their kids.
For more, you can go to their website above or look at recent articles in the Christian Post or National Review.
