Michael Moore Goes On Anti-Catholic Twitter Rant, Distorts Contraception Debate
Andrew Brietbart's Big Hollywood ^ | February 10, 2012 | John Nolte

Posted on 02/11/2012 12:28:50 AM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

According to Michael Moore’s tweet (and everyone on MSNBC and CNN), President Barack Obama is correct to force the Catholic Church to offer insurance that provides free birth control, sterilization, and the Morning After abortion pill — because “the law is clear” about “equal access to birth control for all women no matter where they work.”

Really? There’s a right to free birth control through your employer? Liar.

But what Moore is doing here is what Obama and his media minions are doing. They’re turning a government mandate that violates the First Amendment into a “rights” issue.

What Obama is attempting to do to the Catholic Church is no different than creating a federal mandate that would require every Islamic-run business to provide pork rinds in their vending machines — because people have a right to equal access to fat free foods.

Note all the Catholic Church-bashing Moore’s engages in....

What chaps me about that fat freak is that he’s not at all ignorant of the truth he’s deliberately lying. Definitely a Leni Riefenstahl for the American communist movement.

Shame on you, Mr. Bush, shame on you. And, whenever you've got the Pope against you, your time is up.”

Having second thoughts, Mikey?

Glad the fundamental issue is not being overlooked: “free exercise” is MY INDIVIDUAL RIGHT and it trumps some invisibly penumbral “right” to have sex without its natural consequences (as if that promise was even possible, btw).

This is the moment when an American emperor tried to redefine our fundamental freedoms by an edict that creates a new fundamental and pervasive “right” to free “reproductive services” (how many rights require expenditures by others, btw?).

Bravo to our shepherds for framing this aspect of the issue: “Our concern remains strong that the government is creating its own definitions of who is ‘religious enough’ for full protection. Secular employers must provide coverage for contraception, sterilization and abortion inducing drugs...It seems clear there is no exemption for Catholic and other individuals who work for secular employers; for such individuals who own or operate a business; or for employers who have a moral (not religious) objection to some procedures such as the abortifacient drug Ella. This presents a grave moral problem that must be addressed, and it is unclear whether this combination of policies creates a mandate for contraception, sterilization and abortion inducing drugs covering more of the U.S. population than originally proposed.”

As God enjoys the irony, the seemingly (let us pray) watershed issue for the bishops is the right to follow a fundamental Church teaching that the clergy have largely failed to teach (as the media love to point out with surveys on use of the Pill). We can thank God if indeed this confluence of events has made the defense of Humanae Vitae of palpably prime importance to the entire hierarchy.

Exactly, a rabid red propagandist of the most despicable kind.

He and his comrades are running interference for the communist dictator that occupies the White House.

Problem for the American communists movement is that they are making their boldest attempt yet to subvert the church, but don't have enough storm troopers.

The Church is too big, and not scared of a skinny muslim communist from Kenya

Someone please show me in the Obamacare law where it says everyone is entitled to Birth Control.

I do not believe it is in there.

This isn’t law, this is a ruling from a bureaucrat.

Which, as I understand it, is what we discovered to be in the bill. i.e. three bureaus of the executive branch (Labor, Treasury and HHS) are given the power to implement the law as they see fit.

Remember Bart Stupak? He raised the objection over what he saw as the very possibility of what Obama rolled out. He was a"assured" that would not happen. He voted "ate".

btw, has anyone heard from Bart?

Stupak was "assured" by my congressman, (Rep Mike Doyle, D, PA-14). He sealed the deal and convinced Stupak to vote "aye."

My Bishop, Zubik, started much of the opposition to Obama's dictum with a letter to the Diocese of Pittsburgh.

I have suggested that the Bishop issue an excommunication edict against Doyle for his actions.

But the Bishop has chickened out.

Yeah, Obama, why don’t you mandate this?

Propaganda king.

I find it somewhat satisfying to make any and all of our amoral, politically correct superiors realize their lack of total control over Christians when Christians decide to deny them that power.

It’s good for Christians to see the ultimate weakness of Mikey’s socialist government machinery lording over them as individuals in life. Mikey needs to move to China and even with the communist police machinery, they still can’t make all the Christians to be as insane and evil as they are. Communists can not sustain their atheist social ideal in the face of uppity Christians speaking and acting as Christians.
