Chris Matthews Calls For Media To Blacklist Franklin Graham
Real Clear Politics ^ | February 21, 2012

On the heels of MSNBC dismissing conservative commentator and author Patrick J. Buchanan, Chris Matthews, the network's staunchest Obama supporter, called for news programs to stop inviting Rev. Franklin Graham on television to talk politics. "I think we should stop inviting this guy to talk about politics. He should stay out of the -- I mean, I love the bookings on "Morning Joe." I love the guests. In this case, I think this guy should not be in the public square talking politics," Matthews said on his "Hardball" program. "He's got his own little thing and he ain't his father's son."

The continuing saga Franklin Graham and the hypocrisy of MSNBC.
I watched the original interview with Franklin Graham and for this Joel Heilman to be "Amen-ing" this tirade by Chrissy is indeed the double standard he was exactly accusing Franklin of.
Hey Heilman, what about all of those leftist Rev. Jessie Jackson types that are only shilling for Obama? You have them on all the time? Truth hurts no?

Chris Mathews is always crying about something, poor little victim. I heard him telling Americans to drive smaller cars tonight as a solution to high gas pirces. I wanted to reach through the TV screen and choke him.

Judging from his ratings, I think most people boycott his show. He is constantly at the bottom of the barrel in viewership. Why that joke of a network keeps him on the air is beyond me.

"I call for Christians to blacklist Chris Matthews."

Better idea: I call for Christians to pull the plug on TV in general. I got rid of all of my TV sets nearly two years ago. Life for me has dramatically improved.

I used to watch Chrissy occasionally for comic relief. I don’t anymore. He’s gone from mildly amusing to demented.

There must be some high up executive there who likes Chrissy's "attention."

I watch it occasionally because I absolutely, positively can’t stand watching “Eatin’ Good In The Neighborhood” Bob Beckel.

“I used to watch Chrissy occasionally for comic relief.”

Yeah. Watching a fat, pasty-faced, spitting, manic, jerk with a castrati-like voice does offer some entertainment value. Still... I have a low gag threshhold, and absolutely cannot watch him.

I still say we should put 5000 people on his front lawn every weekend with signs calling him a Communist and Goebbles. Follow him around all day with a video camera and call his family names.

See how he likes being treated like a Conservative.

Then do the same thing to Klein, Stephy, Madcow, and the rest of the Mediacrats.

I actually agree with Chrissy on this one. I lost a lot of respect for Billy Graham whenhe started going gaga over Bill Clinton. Franklin tells it like it is.

Little Chrissie doesn’t realize it, but he is giving people reason to listen to Franklin Graham’s interview on Morning Joe. Matthews is unwittingly shining a spotlight on his fight to make the average American realize just what this country is not doing to stop the genocide going on in Africa and in the Middle East.

Chris would rather pretend politics should be values free, and most certainly free of Christian values.

Matthews again demonstrates that he doesn’t get it. He needs to spend some time with Franklin Graham and actually listen.

“drive smaller cars tonight as a solution to high gas pirces”

IE, more of you that can’t afford higher gas prices should DIE in fatal car accidents so that we can continue our assinine noEnergy policy.

We should all call MSNBC and ask them to run Barnaby Jones or Cannon reruns in his time slot.
