"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."(John 14:27)
"Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare of the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I am trusting Him."(Psalm 91:1-2)
TOPICS: Prayer
KEYWORDS: heroes; military; pray; prayer
I lift up my eyes to the mountains where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD watches over you the LORD is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
The LORD will keep you from all harm he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
Psalm 121
Father, Thank You for this day! Thank You for Your Love! I ask that you deliver courage to our warriors, filling them with Your Wisdom and Your Love! At home and far away, pour out Your favor upon these American heroes, for they sacrifice all, as they carry out Your Will for this nation! And we are so very grateful! Grant them confidence that You know the end of this matter!! And as we place our faith in Your Finished Work at the Cross, in this too, we are Victorious!! I lift each of them up to you in safe keeping, Father, knowing that you are the Power and Strength over all. Let us always remember to honor their sacrifices. For as we honor them, we Honor You, Lord. Deliver Faith and Peace to their families here at home. And I thank you, Lord, for making our lives more restful with Your Presence. Thank You for this Home we call America! Continue to bless those who pray...and wake up the lost. In Jesus precious name, Amen

The Dalton Gang
March 5, 2012
The Dalton brothers were infamous outlaws during the late 1800s in the US. They started out on the right side of the law as officers. But then they followed a gradual descent into crime and became known for bank and train robberies. Their day of reckoning came when they tried to hold up two banks at once. Hearing of the robberies, the townspeople armed themselves and began to fire on the Dalton Gang. When the smoke cleared, Emmett Dalton was the sole survivor.
After serving 15 years in the penitentiary, Emmett was pardoned and set free. While in prison, he had come to see the error of his ways. So when he was released, he wanted to deter young people from a life of crime. Drawing from his own experience, Emmett wrote and starred in a film about the Dalton Gang in which he showed the folly of being an outlaw. In many ways, Emmetts film was telling others: Do not enter the path of the wicked (Prov. 4:14).
In a similar way, when we have sinned but have genuinely repented and experienced Gods forgiveness, we can tell our own story. We can encourage others not to make the same mistakes we have made. James wrote, He who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death (5:20).
If others learn from our mistakes, And it saves them from the pain That we ourselves experienced Then it wasnt all in vain. Sper
When we learn from our mistakes, we are less likely to repeat them.

PRAYERS GOING UP FOR OUR AMERICAN HEROES AND FOR OUR BELOVED NATION!
GEORGE WASHINGTON THE PRAYER AT VALLEY FORGE
In the coldest and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting glory and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation.
In like manner, let our prayers now rise for our heroes in the American military who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and keep them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, Amen.
SHADOWS AT ARLINGTON
Heavenly Father, Lord of the Nations, unto Your Divine Mercy we commend the souls of these who have fallen in the service of our Beloved Nation and in defense of the freedoms we hold dear. We pray that You gather them in Your loving embrace, that You cause Your countenance to shine upon them and that You vouchsafe their souls to dwell eternally in Your Divine Presence. Through Your Son, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)
