Featured Term (selected at random):

INCULPABLE

Not morally responsible for some objectively evil action. It assumes that a person did something wrong but through ignorance, or because of emotional pressure or coercion, is not really guilty before God. Inculpability is identified with material, as distinct from formal, guilt, or sin.

All items in this dictionary are from Fr. John Hardon's Modern Catholic Dictionary, © Eternal Life. Used with permission.

TOPICS: Apologetics; Catholic; History; Theology
KEYWORDS: catholic; sin
Many individuals here on FR cannot be inculpable, for we have posted and re-posted the truths of the Catholic Church.
