Featured Term (selected at random):
In Catholic morality an emotional disorder that either totally or at least partially prevents a person from making decisions.
Or does this pertain more to someone who might be mentally handicapped?
**emotional disorder** not a mental disorder.
Hmmm
Catholic Word of the Day links will be provided later by another FReeper. (Would anyone like to help with this?)

Catholic Word of the Day Ping!
If you arent on this Catholic Word of the Day Ping list and would like to be, please send me a FReepmail.
Tough word. In my current emotional state, I just can’t decide how to respond.
~~~Snicker~~
Perfectionism, fear of failure, fear of punishment? My oldest son is kind of like this ... when he was younger, especially, he would find it hard to choose a library book, because he might not like it!
That makes sense.
Or the child of a drunk who gets slapped down for every little thing they decide to do, and ends up never deciding anything, or deciding too late.
More religious context, please! There seems to be a medical condition called “eboulia,” probably with identical origins. What’s the theological purpose? Does aboulia reduce culpability of grave sin? Is it a form of concupiscence?
