Liberals/Progressives/Democrats say the Bible is off-limits when it addresses the subject of homosexuality, homosexual marriage, abortion, or any issue liberals favor but the Bible condemns. But it's permitted to be used when wealth-redistribution is being discussed. The only problem is that when President Barack Hussein Obama quoted from the Bible, he both took his quotation out of context and got it wrong.
On Friday, March 30, 2012, in an address to supporters at the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT, Obama condemned what he called "you're-on-your-own economics," arguing for policies that involve transferring wealth from one group of citizens to another to support providing public schools with more money for teachers' salaries; supporting companies developing bio-fuels, electric batteries, and wind and solar power; and funding scientists who are researching climate change. Obama then quoted from Genesis to support his argument for more taxes and wealth redistribution.
Obama said, "I hear politicians talking about values in an election year. I hear a lot about that. Let me tell you about values. Hard work, personal responsibility - those are values. But looking out for one another. That's a value. The idea that we're all in this together. I am my brother's keeper. I am my sister's keeper. That's a value."
Obama said, "I am my brother's keeper. I am my sister's keeper." The "brother's keeper" quote comes from the book of Genesis. But when the entire story is presented, a quite different message comes forth:

To prefer to follow in Cain’s footsteps?
Cain was beinng a wise guy when he said “Am I my brother’s keeper”
Well, the context of Cain "opting out" of not knowing where his bro, Abel was -- opting out of being his "brother's keeper" -- was that he didn't want to tell the Lord where Abel's corpse was after Cain killed him:
From Genesis: 8Now Cain said to his brother Abel, "Lets go out to the field." While they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him. 9Then the LORD said to Cain, "Where is your brother Abel?" "I don't know," he replied. "Am I my brother's keeper?"
So...let's apply this same context then when Obama says he is his "brother's" and "sister's" keeper...
Let's assume there's both male and female bodies out there...deaths that Obama had something to do with...and, unlike Cain who didn't want to take responsibility for Abel's death...Obama is taking responsibility for these deaths. He does know where these bodies have gone! (Well, at least their spare parts, anyway)
What would be the likeliest deaths Obama has had a hand in?
Deaths in the womb. Abortions. Of male & female bambinos. (And if a leaders know how and where the abortion industry is harvesting spare parts of babies, of course he would still be their "keeper!")
Perhaps Baraq would be more comfortable quoting the Qur’an.

When Obummer misquotes Scripture, he`s misunderstood. AGAIN.
The Messiah is doing a great job of being his brother’s keeper. His brother lives in a tiny hut in Africa and exists on $12 per year. Meanwhile, brother Obama, jets around the world and his wife goes shopping in Paris and Spain on the taxpayer’s dime. Just think what Obama’s brother in Africa could do with another $12 from his chintzy brother, the head cheese in these “57” states of america.
He has made more gaffes than anyone else with the possible exception of McCain.
The verse he meant to quote was 2Thess 3:10.

Cain said that sarcastically to God, as if he should know where his missing brother Abel was.
The devil knows Scripture. He knows how to distort it. He and Obama share this trait.
Fact is we are not all brothers and sisters. Those that believe in Christ, are brothers and sisters in Christ, but even so, have no moral claim they can make on another to force one to give them something. Even God knows forced love isn’t love, and forced charity isn’t charity.
Those people that do not believe in Christ are fellow human beings, but they are not brothers and sisters in Christ, and are still under the power and control of Satan. Simple as that.
Barry is not nearly as smart about anything that he thinks he is. Much, much smarter in his own mind.
Those that will not work, neither shall they eat. I believe Paul was inspired by the Holy Spirit to write that.
Libs will often say “Oh so you will let the disabled and mentally ill starve?” Not grasping the difference between “will” (those that could work but don’t) and “can’t”. The statement is only aimed at people who are able-bodied but don’t work.
Even many Christians misquote the Bible to make it serve their pet ideas. We had folks using the "Your body is your temple" bit to push for healthy eating and exercise, etc. They were rather upset when I told them to read the whole area - that quote is speaking about sexual impurity and has nothing to do with staying physically fit.
